When I create a video file my cpu is at 100% while it's processing. Is that what you mean by exporting? If so I'd be more concerned as to why it isn't running at 100%.

I have one device where an old driver works, but the newer one doesn't! Cheaply shit from China. What do you think of the case Muel?

KK, they seem simple enough to do. Backed up all of my drivers with Double driver so I won't have to worry about all that.

Got a SSD in the mail. Not going to clone my current drive. And advice on how to install it etc? Or can I simply just plug it in and install windows?

When looking at external enclosures, they all appear to have limits. Up to 180gb, up to 500gb etc. I don't get why they have limits, after all aren't they just boxes and a cable? I've always thought they were. Obviously planned and a lot of the artsie footage is shot post race. But generally the races are pretty uneventful...

It's just becoming more and more staged. I much prefer the races where it's just filmed as is. And when shit really does happen you know it's real. Also when they improved the hover van for it's second run, it obviously couldn't drive on the road.. probably didn't even have wheels, do it kind of defeated the purpose.

So how long do you think it'll be until HDD are a thing of the past?

Haha, that's amazing, I had no idea that could possibly exist. Thought you'd sent me the wrong link at first. Although I don't think it'd be worth it, even though my DVD drive is now useless since I took your advice and bought an external blu-ray drive (which is now sat under my tv), I don't really need it to be mobile. But that's incredible non the less. I'll probably treat myself to a 256gb SSD and just buy a cheap USB 3.0 enclosure for the old drive and just have it constantly connected. Would rather have more money available for the desktop computer.

Are all SSD 2.5"? If so, I was thinking I could just go ahead and buy a SSD now and use it in my laptop then switch it over to the desktop when the time comes. Originally I didn't even think this was an option as I thought I'd have to buy a 3.5" SSD but these don't seems to exist? Is that a good idea? And could I just buy an enclosure for my old HDD and use that for things that don't need to be on the SSD? Any issues setting it up like that?

Haha Lukas you dummie, the question should be 100k a year or 1 Mill. Everyone is going to pick 1 Mill because you'd have to live 100 more years @ 10k a year just to break even.

So I bought one of those cheap car code scanners so I can connect the car to my laptop. But it won't even install. I can download a bunch of different drivers, but when I go into deice manager and go through all the steps to pick a device driver it just constantly gives me the same two... I'd have though since I've tried a dozen or so different drivers there should be more than two on there? Or I am missing something. EDIT...seriously been working on this for 2 hours and as I hit the make new topic button shit starts working.

I'm gonna try sanding first I think... It's a cheap keyboard so they aren't lazer etched on, you can kind of see like a black shadow around each of the letters.

I was thinking any kind of liquid solvent would f**k the keys up, I left a lego many in nail varnish remove once, it's some funny shit! I'd like to keep the keys as intact as possible.

I was thinking about buying the exact same model keyboard I have now ($14) and removing the markings from the keys of one I have now. 1. Am I an idiot? 2. Any idea how I could remove the markings?
