  1. Was an amazing day, Had ssooo much fun :ermm: I dont think you will find a more chilled out fun comp like this one for a while. Big thanks to Andy and Terry and everyone else who had a part in making it happen. Just had to pile on a tonne of after sun
  2. Brentwood in essex is good for that sort of thing. Lots of wood about there. Im sure there will be some woods near you that you can explore.
  3. I like your style on the short vinco. Are you still riding it?? What is happening with it??
  4. How did you work that out|??
  5. I think zoo's are the best on a smooth rim, I have never used them but from dissuccions on here that was the impression I got. Plaz are really good on a grind, so Im not sure about a smooth rim
  6. HAVE YOU SEEN THE RIDER LIST :P Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahaahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaaahahahahahahahahahahahahaha :) :)
  7. Do you enter national comps, or will do in the future?? If no I would go single speed, unless you really want gears? I hate my gears and they are so much more hassel than they are worth. If I were you I would get a gusset thick chainring, then a gusset single speed sprocket on the back, and a thick kool chain. Then buy a tigra mech, space the jockey wheels out a little bit with some washers (for the chain), lock it out, and then line it up and lock it in place with a short pice of cable. Then you will be laughing. :P I really want to do this again.

Yeah if you look I actually said "... a rider of hosels standards..." I know how bloody awsome he is. He is one of my fav 20 inch riders, he has such a cool style, and he flows so well its untrue. Just from watching the graz vid with the hook up the wet skip thing, its like he tried to bunny hop to bash rather than hook. And he seemed to do the same on the first hook in that section up the sloped obstacle where he hooks to bash. And then up the second one he sort of does the same. No doubt he is an amazing rider, and one of my favourites. I was in no way saying he is not one of the best.

Yeah I was just thinking to my self, "How come a rider of the standards of marco hosel, cant do hooks?" It is puzzling. And the ribo bit is well funny :-
  10. Bummer. Im sure you can find some more suitable stuff.
  11. That is a really cool idea, and it looks sweet. I dont know how to solve your problem though. I would just bleed it the proper way and give it a chance to break in :- Maybe the inner diameter makes a difference?? :-
  12. kenny has always been one of my fav riders bu the dvd is absolute wank. He doesnt do any thing special its just lots of demo stuff which is boring and a bit of comp stuff. There is a funny clip where he goes to do a wheel swap and his forks explode. If you have some spare cash then there is no harm in getting it, but dont save up for it. Just wait for Glass eye mania :-
  13. If the pure hanger is the same as the control hanger then I have a few rowland. I will be getting in to the station at 11.15. :-
  14. Whats a coust hop?? It does look like a nice frame, the only thing I would say is to have the mounts in between the chain and seat stays.
  15. Hope trial is very good, I have one. I would say the avid probally has more bite. The lock on the trial is very good. I had to bleed my one the other week because i ripped off part of the hosing. It was the easiest thing to do. I wish maguras were as easy to bleed as the hope.
  16. I used to have a small tyre on the front of my zebdi. Mainly because I didnt really give it much abuse. Now I have a control and because of the different style of riding I abuse the front quite abit so I now run el gato's front and rear. It is so much nicer with a fatter tyre, so I would say go big

  18. I love long forks. They feel so nice  My control rode the best with my ashton forks.
  19. Not being bitchy mate, but when you come on here and say "I dont trust my bike because I havent set it up properly, what shall I do?" It sounds rather stupid to me. Your chain keeps coming off because you have nothing to tension it properly. Put chain tugs on to tension it properly and there is no problem. Its simple to solve. :shifty:
  20. Just set your bike up properly with chain tugs that fit and work. Every one knows you cant ride a mod properly with out them. Use some common sense.

    Grips

I use the koxx rubber grips, and I use them with no gloves no problem. I dont like lock on grips because when I had them the grip rocked a little bit when it was locked down, which was very annoying. I love the koxx/echo/brisa rubber grips. Like said above put 1p piece's in them and your away. Also if you dont want your grips to move, put them on with spray paint. It is liquid once sprayed so it lets you slide them on nice, and them it sticks. Hard.
  22. Just rung super cycles and they say they dont have any (Y)
  23. Isn't the 3/32" one the one for thicker 3/32" chain rings?? I though it was. Sorry if im wrong
  24. The kool chain for gears please, not the thick one
  25. Does any one have or know where to get a kmc kool chain for gears e.g. not the thick one. Im really in need of one. So if any one knows and could put a link in here or maybe has a spare or something please post. If all else fails, could you maybe suggest an alternative as I have only used kool chains for the last 2 years. Thanks for the help (Y)
