  1. When people act like cocks, then they are normally a cock. Its pointless arguing with a cock, especially over the web. So Im not, Im just pointing out that he is being a cock.
  2. What a cock D-B-L is. :D In my opinion the best way to get wheels built, is to take them to your local bike shop and get them to build them. Then ride them for a day or two and then re-tension them. This is what I have done in the past, and its worked a treat. Just when you do it, remeber to turn each spoke equally and dont do them too tight. ;)
  3. http://tv.isg.si/site/?q=filebrowser/MikeTheBike/ It the les gets one obviously. Its well good and I never saw it the first time round. :D Its a really well filmed and edited piece.

    Worlds Vid

http://www.observedtrials.net/vb/showthread.php?t=15604 Worlds vid edited by andy T. http://www.observedtrials.net/vb/showthread.php?t=15590 Warm up vid. Enjoy
  5. It is probaly your arms and wrists etc. still getting used to the pains of trials (N) It can be caused by a really stupid set up but I think we all have the common sense of what is comfortable and whats not. You can look through the bike pics thread and look at people bar and lever angles to get a feel of what people are running. Thats what I have done in the past.

    Benito At Livingo

Watch it again and see where he lands. its maybe a 1cm difference at most. I dont think you can take it away from him. I reckon he would of made it up a wall that hight anyway. But who cares. There was a pile of pallets that was 143cm high, and he sidehopped up onto them. Why people like TRA have to get funny about it, I dont know.
  7. That guy was an arse hole from what I saw of him. And to try and take as much money as possible from a charity is an outrageous thing to do :) What a dick. Im really sorry andy that this event is dragging on. Fight the cause as much as possible.
  8. Felix are you going to make a vid from the warm up stuff you have?? Please do.
  9. You see thats what I thought. The guy has just said they dont flex though (Y) so either they are different or some one doesnt know what stiff forks are. And by the sound of it you had pure forks before and they flex flex flex.
  10. Yeah that one. But with front and rear el gato's and a different seat. It still looks f**king wicked. I want to ride that. That brings back so many memories aswell (Y) That bike is cool :)
  11. Wow you guys with planet x's are in for a bit of a shock. (Y)" EDIT: Sorry, my fav bike of all time is still akriggs silver pace with dual wavy discs. I love that thing.
  12. I remeber those forks. They look really nice but didnt they flex loads??
  13. Cool vid stan, great riding (Y) That last sidehop :) I didnt realise you were running the new maxis, with the tread on the sidewalls :)
  14. I dont see why everyone is saying its crap and calling him an idiot. I think it looks quite cool, and I bet it doesnt damage/weaken the frame that much. (the top one). Im not exactly sure what frame it is but I think its a zoo. Zoo's and echo's are famous for being strong and not breaking, so it will be interesting to see how long that lasts. I wouldnt want to try it on my frame as I wouldnt want to take the risk, but its the same as people not being worried to drill the shit out of mavic rims because they are such quality rims and can take it. If I were going to drill a frame I would choose to drill out a zoo or echo as I would say the zoo's are some what over built, if you know what I mean.

    Harsh Grind

I always do my grinds totally 90 degrees to the rim, as in straight down on it. This i find gives a grind that works both directions very well. There are loads of topics on what disc to use so you can search them out, but I find the best way is to go to home base and buy a couple of different ones and try them yourself. They are only like 70p. I prefer to use a metal cutting disc. Also a tip I would give is to do it fast and hard. If you spend to much time on one area it will end up making it smoother rather than rougher. So I press real hard and run it over the rim quickly. But again you have to play about your self to see what works best for you. Dont worry about damaging your rim. They have loads of sidewall and grinding (even harsh) doesnt take that much off. And Im not even sure how hobbsie managed to do that to his rim, but luckily for him its a mavic. Also if you grind at an angle not 90 to the rim then one direction will always be weaker.
  16. Im there at 6.10pm so only the hardcore will get to see me :)

  19. I have yet to find a set of bars that feel as nice as azonic DW. Just a shame they snap as everyone has said. I have onza carbons. They feel good and would work well with a high stem as they have low rise. The zoo risers have a very nice shape and are strong, I would suggest these for you. They are quite wide but are easily cut down.
  20. Havent seen yet but thanks felix.

    British Champs

Yeah akkers was on the silver bike. I think its an old zoo. Ben savage is the elite champ with slinger in second and cant remeber who came third (sorry).
  22. Mate every one is going blah blah blah plazzies are wicked blah blah blah. They are very good pads but NOT IN THE WET. Koxx browns are best in the wet and its winter time. You could buy the plaz and love them and them when its raining you will be crying cos you didnt buy the koxx. I use brown on koxx rim all year round. EDIT: And your from norway so isnt it wet there alot??

    My Bike Competition

    Has my bike won yet??
  24. Oh right. I thought they were because they were american. And I thought thats what peolpe said. My bad Whoops. No problem then
  25. Leave the wheel in, just take out the qr. Loosen put 2 allen keys into the end of the axel. They are imperial size but a normal allen key should be alright. Loosen these using the allen keys. Then with your hand tighten the cone on the non-drive side as tight as you can with your fingers, then do the axel back up tight and it should be fine.
