    Lever Travel

Yes I know that, but I think what the problem he is describing is the amount the lever travels before any contact/bite. Regarless of where the lever starts it has the same amount of travel.

    Lever Travel

If your refering to the grub srew at the top of the hs33 blade, then yes I know. The grub srew wasn't long enough for me so I took it out and put a small srew in there to get the extra length.

    Lever Travel

I know what you mean about having less travel in the lever. I have an extra long srew in my hss33 to achieve a shorter reach for that. With my Hope trial I find its ok because its a disc you can hold the lever where you feel comfortable and it doesnt rub to much. Its hard explain, but like pulling the lever very gently and holding at the comforable distance.
  4. Its amazing what people can do these days. I need to practise them alot more thats for sure. Just out of interest, what do people think that the coustelliers have done and any of the big names in world trials.
  5. Have far is Dartmoor from oxford.? Dont worry its too far.
  6. Im sure this has been asked before but times do change and improvements are made all the time. Last night I was trying to tap a 47inch wall and just not getting it. I was looking at the wall and thinking this is a pretty average tap these days. So my question is just whats the highest you have ever seen? What can you and your mates do? What hight have you seen the pro's get (fact not speculation) like kenny, coustelliers, you understand.
  7. Nice find adam. A brilliant trickster.
  8. I got this video ages ago but it is a beaut. Tibo's gapping style is awsome, massive and smooth. Hardly any up lift just straigh from where he starts to where he's going.
  9. I just had to pay £60 to sort my bike out with 6 working gears. And i hate them. I dont really understand that rule and I would support it being changed, even if it is only for british rounds. British trials dont have the stupid ankle shoe rule and if they got rid of the "mountain bikes need 6 working gears" rule it would be more appealing. Its not as if its an advantage to have one gear, if anything it is a hindering factor.

    The Cycle Show 2004

I was just remebering how good the cycle show 2004 was. The show that had the coustelliers and Dani Comas competing in London. It was some of the best riding I have ever seen in the flesh. I used the search to see if I had missed any video's, but couldn't find any. In the topic about the show people were saying they were going to make a vid so I wondered if there were any knocking about.?
  12. Lovely video. Not many good quality vids of natural sessions. I really enjoyed it.
  13. In all seriousness mate, I bet by sunday eveing it will feel alot better. Only you can Judge when its ready again.

  15. Just rest it until sunday afternoon, then see how it feels and give it some light movements. e.g. rotating, pointing your toes that sort of thing. Then on monday come on the oxford ride with it strapped up and a couple of pain killers. Dont rest it to much other wise it will go very stiff. and stop being a girl.
  16. I found it easier to do on my zebdi than I have found doing it on my control
  17. I thought some thing like that would be possible. Probally be quite expensive. You would have loads of clearance aswell. More than you would need. The bb might be too high if it was a straight tube though?
  18. I agree with bongo. Soon it will be a big monoque tube (like orange frames) going strainght from the rear axel to the head tube, with the bb in there aswell. Not sure how it could be made, and if it would be strong enough but I think it could happen soon.
  19. They are hard. I remeber seeing adam wilson doing them in a video and that it was a great technique. So I made a pile of pallets so I could practise them. Took a while to get, but I was only trying them now and then. They are alot harder on vertical walls. Its funny I could do them consistently on my zebdi, but now on my new control (which I thought would be better for them) I cant get them.

    K.m.c Chains

Chains break. Fact. KMC's are some of the best not to mention easy to get hold of and not expensive. My kool broke the other day, it was quite old and that just means I need to buy another one which will last about a year. Although you should try and replace them before they break.
