Thats because it works aswell as if not better. My mono goes really weird. Took bike out of car last night for first time since sunday and the disk was fine on sunday, last night it was squeaking like a whore and not locking. Spray the hose on it and its fine. Weird.

I say Hope, but apparently my brakes are shit so I dont know what Im talking about. Avids bite and hopes modulate as mike said. Bleeding a hope brake is sooooooooooooo easy its untrue, so people saying replacing cable is easier, I would say its probally quite close if you ever have to bleed it to rplacing a wire. Avids do work very well and are cheaper. But I wouldnt change from my mono trial.

Taps There is 2 taps in that there vid. The second one is the one Im trying to explain, where you roll the front wheel over the edge. May help you get up walls that high.

Wayne no. haha When you screw the grub screw you either move the lever closer to the bar or further away. This affects where the brake bites. What it doesnt change is the lever travel. e.g. The lever starts further out and finishes further out. or starts futher in and ends further in.

I would say on a wall that high, dont tap it. Go slower and roll the front wheel over the edge of the wall then throw your weight up. Its hard to explain. I will try and find an example

The mono has an adjuster anyway. The grub screw in the lever, you can adjust where the brake bites with that. I wouldnt want a tpa on my disk brake, all I want is for the grub screw to stay where you put it and not move itself in now and then. P.S I use the 160 mono trial with the +20 adapter, is better than 160. Not sure if buying 160 and an adapter works out cheaper than buying the 180 version.

Yeah big thanks to terry and co, awsome sections. But how has Doney gone through there with only 5??? 3 of them muct of been strato dabs on the big sidehop up the block, so to do the rest on 2, awsome. I would like to know where else he dropped his 2 other dabs?? Because it was a hard trial.

I think actually have speed trials this time, I know it was unfortunate we didnt have it last time. But this time maybe have a seperate course, and nothing too trialsy, something more like what they had at the bikeshow that time when lenosky jj and leech were there, and we had the union jack seats. Anyway, yeah have speed trials and maybe make it a team event, like 5 riders get together and thats the team or something. Could even have like 1 beginner, 1 intermidiate and so on in each team with slight variants of the course so everyone can have a go. Have a speed trial at the end of each day, make it good for spectating, so we can all chill out and have some fun, have a few etc whilst cheering people on and all that.
