wait for the ultraportable macbook pro which has to come along with leopard. everyone wants one. i guess they'll replace the 12" powerbook with something equally small, but more powerful. it will break the bank though! the thing with the macbooks is the lack of dedicated graphics.. i have edited some video and it's fine, but the imac is nicer with the graphics.. i love my mb though, portable and pretty nippy!

adium doesnt support full-speed file transfers though? it's the only reason i use amsn, it crashes all the time but it does file transfers. microshit are wankers for making their own msn client useless and not allowing other people's clients to send files peer to peer.

second hand thomson? they really are the most brilliant stems out there. shop around in local shops maybe, i know people and have myself used noname stems for ages, no problems. go try some cheap ones around 'til you find something you like and then save up for an expensive one. it's how i did.

get something custom from tarty probably.. some nice frame like a mbk or koxx and maybe a pro2 or king back hub, tryall rims etc. have a chat to tartybikes or phil at select, i'm sure they'll be able to build a pretty damn pimp bike for 1300 quid.

bled my brake with battery water last night. so far feels fine. battery water = distilled stuff without the ions and shit in it. dunno if it makes a difference, our tap water here is really clean, but it was like a quid for a litre so why not?

i moved out at 18. alone though. went to uni, it's a great experience. living costs a lot more than i thought.. burn through my student loan every month, no exceptions. also, a friend of mine moved out with a girl. he now has to go to uni in a crappy place (according to me, gothenburg rules ) and has no real choice. yet, he's fine with it. i know i wouldn't be. uni is lovely.

slipping brakes put me off loads. even if i don't need all the power, it's nice to know you have it, just in case. fatmike will remember my terrible overshot small downgaps to rails in worcs.. if my brake had slipped i'd have died, twice!

shorts when it's really hot. jeans most of the time. need to get a new pair of emo jeans for riding now. get some stretchy ones, all the benefits of lycra and emo in one package. fashionable with trials shoes or converse chuck taylors.
