    A Curb Video

Enjoyed that. Some clever editing in there.
  3. Was alreet, I suppose. That doesn't mean it was shit, 'cos it was refreshingly different as always, but it wasn't something to have multiple orgasms over like some people here. Have to say you look mundo better on the twofour". Snappy and smooth at the same time, which is rather nice.
  4. Am I the only blind man on the forum? Where is it? Maybe I have the wrong forum skin...?
  5. Just a quickie about adding a chit-chat section in New Members... NMC is crap. Everyone knows that. But maybe that's the whole point of it? New people who sign will be forced into the forum they may not like as much as the rest of the forum, thus creating incentives to become a better member. If we throw in chit chat sections and whatnot sections, they'd practically have a nice little forum of their own going on, and some of them wouldn't really care for the upgrading. One forum is fine for them. Makes life easier for the validating crew, too.

    Photoshop Help

There's probably a better way of doing it but for simple colour replacements go to Image > Adjustments > Replace Colour A small box will pop up. First thing to do is click the colour on the picture you want changing, in your case the white background. Then look at the bottom half of the box that popped up before, you'll notice 3 variables to adjust. Basically just mess around with them till you get the desired colour. To change it to black, you could drop the lightness one down to the end. But, like I said, there must be a better way of doing it because my method will also slightly alter the other colours, since there are elements of the original colour in them (or something like that...). Anyway, hope that does the trick. edit: well Tomm's sounds better, so try that instead.

Well, according to his profile, he was on the forum earlier today... Maybe he just changed his mind about selling and didn't want to say? Who knows. Just wait a couple of days, perhaps. At least you haven't lost any money or anything.
  8. First bike I rode trials on was a bright orange 'Shanghai' Y-Frame BMX. Got it for my 12th birthday (almost 6 years ago!!! Ok, I so didn't think it was that long ago...). It came with V-Brakes fitted so I learnt endo's and eventually most other things on it. But then I needed to up the game so I got a fake Marin Raceline copy, known as the MR Raider, with cheapo front suspension that became rigid because I took the black plastic spring thingies off and the fluid froze up or something. It wasn't a trials bike, obviously, but I put some FSA PowerPro's on and a DMR Ring thing to make it look more trialsy. Did the job. I guess. So my first MTB'y trialsy bike was about 4 or 5 years ago.
  9. But more importantly, how did you get those rad symbols around your name?

    Bmx Questions

Munki, I've used this for a fair while, and it's been battered to f**k (seriously) but it's still running perfectly fine. You can get it in pretty much every size as well, which is a plus point. I've got the 36T version, but I'm thinking of moving down to like 27T maybe. As for cranks, you're not really gonna find any awesome cranks for less than about £80 to be honest. There are these though, which seem alright I guess. I'd look for a decent set of second hand ones though, really.
  11. Although posts in Chittle Chattle don't add to your count... ...and, unless you have a private host, you don't need FTP software to upload the files. Most of the free hosting services have built in uploading sections as well (like freewebs).
  12. Oh who gives a f**k if he can or can't build sites, just answer the poor boy's question! If you want to be cool, use Dreamweaver (MX 2004), you can get a free months trial from the Macromedia website. Otherwise just go to FreeWebs, where you can build and host a site for free. If you build it in Dreamweaver, you can then also host it free on Freewebs. So either way, FreeWebs may be a good starting point.
  13. See at work all the time. Sick of it.

    Random Pics?

Sorry boys and girls, guess the old intelligent humour ain't as cracked up as it used to be. But hey, it's a thread for random pictures - I provided. :)
  15. Ah f**k, if only one of you arse-hats came up with this when I was a trialser.
  16. That actually looks pretty damn fly.

  19. Nah use Dreamweaver, man. It's really easy once you get going. There are loads of tutorials kicking about. Just sit down, for like an hour or two, skim over them and you'll be away. The liquid shit they're talking about makes so much more sense when you're in Dreamweaver cos it basically just tells you exactly what to do and where to do it. Bottom line: Wanna make a good site? Use Dreamweaver. If not, FrontPage.

I don't. (Y) *retreats to corner of uncoolness*
  21. Well that's not entirely true. There's the ol' Kyoto Agreement, which basically sets ceilings on the CO2 emissions of each member country. It sounds like an awesome plan, but it has a couple of flaws. Firstly, if a country results with lower emissions than was agreed via the protocol, they're allowed to sell the remainder quota to other countries who may need it. The problem with that is that it's not completely reducing CO2 levels, really. If they don't reach their quota, so what?! They should be happy that their country is leading the way in reducing pollution, not bung the rest of it on eBay. Secondly, not all countries are obliged to sign up. So basically while practically every country is aiming towards better sustainability and more efficieny, the USofGay are allowed to continue being the highest global polluter. Apparantly there are more important things to Bush than reducing CO2 emissions. And, looking at things a little more nationally, the government has several tax policies which indirectly reduce pollution levels. There's something called the 'Pigou' tax (or Green tax), which basically operates on a 'corporate polluter pays' principle. Then there's all the other little taxes on, say, petrol which should reduce the amount people use their own vehicles and opt for public transport instead (which isn't actually the case, though...). If people cared about the environment more than their bank balance, we'd have a Green victory this coming election, seeing as they're the ones who are more centralised about environmental issues, as opposed to the majority of other parties who sort of have ecology there in the back somewhere. Anyway, I don't care. Even though the UK will be one of the first to submerge in water, Slough's fairly far down in the South'ish so I'll have longer to dance around than everyone else. Yay. edit: One more thing, I do think the threat of global warming has definately been hyped up hella-mounts, just to install the fear element into society. Ain't nothing gonna happen for a long time, methinks.
