  1. don't the pills just make your muscles collect water and make them look big rather than actually make you stronger?
  2. well, there isn't an email addy on their site, but I got one when I phoned up. rachel@orangebikes.co.uk (but I bet "anything"@orangebikes.co.uk would work)
  3. platform pedals are grippier, last longer and are harder to shin yourself on (because of the palolelagram shape (<please ignore my bad spelling))
  4. is he not worried of f**king up his wrist more? Its worth waiting for something to heal rather than be impatient and have the chance of more pain and possibly surgury in the future.
  5. I still feel bent tubes should be banned on 26" frames!
  6. quick heads-up....if you need tar, they are not good pads. Magura black pads work well with tar, and so would a mouse if you got it to fit in the backings.
  7. nope, mineral oil wrecks the seals (fast too) and the piston is far to small, the brake will pull to the bars with even the stiffest set-up plus you will have to set the pads soo close to the rim your brake will almost always rub. I tried it years ago, its not worth it.
  8. I don't really know the in and outs of Ryans deal (as I have been off work) but quite often riders get (or buy) a full bike. after a couple of months they sell it and use the money to buy a new one. This keeps the bike fresh and clean which looks good for the sponsors and means the riders bike is mechanically sound
  9. never had a problem with normal alloy nipples in the years I have been using them.
  10. mighty all wood beat you!
  11. yeah, watch the news (sometimes)
  12. pah, I have 56 pupils!
  13. you cannot beat my brute! (may be untrue)
  14. you shouldn't need a metal tpa really. Only use the tpa just take up pad wear, If you need to use the tpa loads, then move the calipers in.
  15. they come threaded You all wanted to say it!!
  16. bars look waaaay too far forward, but its your choice
  17. haha, love it! Iolo is so random!
  18. your kidding right?? I bought a few DVDs recently, including Roam, Chainreaction 5, and new world disorder 9 (I think). I hated all of them (especially Chainreaction 5 which I couldn't watch all of). I also got Earthed, Sprung (best of and volume 5) and tricks and stunts. They KICKED ASS over all the American and Canadian DVDs! especially the Sprung series! The UK vids came across much more *real*, going out and having a laugh with friends rather than the over-the-top seriousness of our friends over the pond. Roam made me laugh too. They are talking about "all you need is a bike, the will to ride and the spirit of land to be truly free" (or something corny like that). The VERY next scene is them all DRIVING in the hills with their bikes in the back!
  19. never read a newspaper (other than looking on the front page) in my life.
  20. echo hifi frame...worst frame I have ever owned. avid juicy ultimate....snapped the lever doing a hook plus the power was pants older hope headsets USE ringostar headlock system....never ever worked Conti rubber queen....not shit as such, but dissapointing grip and crap on cambers
  21. nope, doesn't ring any bells, cheers for the catch up though
  22. No joke, I seriously have never heard of a driver with the name of Button! But then again I have as much interest in F1 as I do in stamp collecting.
  23. hmm, I am still a bit scared of the poly backings after I snapped mine in 20 mins. I really like the rest of the stuff though, nice idea with the spacers on the booster.
  24. but your brake had wank hold when I tried it without a booster, I BET a booster helped with the hold, but maybe reduced the bite.
