  1. It doesn't matter who you vote for, you always get the government. I'm f**king pissed to be brutally honest. Not just about this. Every f**king day I hear about yet another thing the government is doing to take away our freedoms; Banning smoking. Banning hunting. Even the goddamn pint, one of the most recognised symbols of the last three hundred years of Bristish heritage, is being desecrated. And now this. I really hate to say it and sound so militant, but the whole idea of government is f**king stupid. Sorry, I hate being so base and pathetic in my wording, but it really makes me angry when these people are supposed to be our voice to the world, and even though we don't like it, most of us are too overweight to get out of our armchairs and do something about it. It's like we've been given just enough rope to hang ourselves with. Rich
  2. Got to love CRC at the moment for cheap Avid stuff. Just bought an 05 SD7 for £13 Sweeeeeeeet Rich
  3. Bouldering is the more gymnastic/athletic side of climibing, and never really strays above ten feet from the ground, and usually move laterally along a wall or face rather than up it. Boulderers don't use ropes or harnessess becasue they are never usually high enough of the groud to hurt themselves. Actual climbing is the act of ascending a face, using ropes for safety as you only get higher and high and util it gets dangerous and falling willresult in serious injury or death. Rich
  4. Going with Rowans thread of thought; Plymouth! Or... Barnstaple! Or.... Dartmoor! Or...Exeter! Or... Taunton! Or... Minions! Or... Porthperrow! Or... any of the other f**king awesome places within an hours drive of you! Rich
  5. I want to improve my sidehops and taps, rather than just my gaps, which towards the end of 06 was a sort of personal battle I had against prawn. But yeah, as soon as I get bike back I'm hoping to get my taps bigger and my sidehops... tidyer, if not a little higher. And hooks. Got to practise more hooking. Rich
  6. I really, really hate to say it, but BMX is absolutely leaps and bounds ahead of us in terms of evolution.
  7. I have a rather fetching Leeson sawtooth rotor that will fit your 180 monotrials, which you can have for the sum of roughly £10. catch me on MSN if you're interested dude, karsonlevoret@hotmail.com Rich
  8. Tell you what, give me a job and I'll do the first week for free. Then you're stuck with me, MWAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAaaaaaaaa........
  9. If you hate this forum so much and think its so stupid, then why are you bothered about not being let in? Rich
  10. What happened in Cardiff, stays in Cardiff young lady. Rich
  11. Do you know how damn hard you have land on a rotor to actually bend it? Really, REALLY f**king hard. And they're a lot easier to bend back into shape rather than true a wheel. Erm, that technically is also bullshit, as they loose a shed load of power in the wet. The myth that discs work better in the wet applies to downhill and XC, where the constant speed and drag keeps the disc warm and working well. In trials, you NEVER build up enough speed and power to get a disc working how it will in the dry, ergo, discs are actually close to being the WORST brake to have in the wet. I'd rather have a smooth rim with kool stop pads than a disc in the wet. But meh, there are pro's and con's. Rich
  12. When all that heals into scar tissue your gonna look one evil motherf**ker. Hope it all gets better soon dude. Rich
  13. Stan Natural 2, just love that tune. And along the same kind of lines was James B at U of T. Unbelieveable stuff. Erm, GetPORTER was pretty good, probably just because the railstack seriously should have killed him. Rich
  14. ROFL, right just to clear this up, as a couple of other people have mentioned this: The guy at the VERY end, who says he wants a pasty, is not Adam Phillips (Bigman) its Nick Vaughan. Who is also a lardy pasty eating b*****d. Glad y'all like it, keep the comments comming. Rich
  15. New trailer for Southern Discomfort, an extreme sports film centering around biketrials and showcasing the best of the southwest. The DVD's looking really promising at the moment with many of the segments completed far in advance of the schedualed release date, and with lots of backing from vairous sponsors and music groups. tv.isg.si ---> TrailerTwo The film should, as stated, be released in spring 2008, although that may be brought forward. MAYBE... Hope you all like it, all comments welcome. Rich
  16. MSN News Link A bit morbid I know, but if they're all keen to air it should be worth a watch. Good to hear he's alive and kicking. Rich
  17. Apart from if you take away the wieght of the original canti mounts, and then add on the disc mount, you've only added on about 30g. Plus you can buy the pashley's direct from Clive so you don't need to get them elsewhere and send them to him. And of course, they might be a little more expensive, but the Leeson garauntee if they break kind of makes up for that. But, meh, good find. Rich
  18. Rest in Peace man. A local mototrials lad from north Devon called Martin Lucket passed away under similar circumstances (unprecedented heart attack) aged 19, just over a year ago. Its really sad, but it does seem to happen to the best of us. Rich
  19. You'll have to wait and see won't you...
  20. I'll be there hopefully. Providing my frame has come by then. Looking forward to it. Rich
  21. Basically.......................................................... yes
  22. Not exactly just got in, but explains how badly wrong my new years eve went. tv.isg.si ---> MOV00004 Rich
  23. I have to have been?! Or perhaps, god forbid, I could have just met the man in real life... Give the guy a break, hes not that bad. Rich
