Hey all, Just sifting through all my old DV tapes before heading down to devon for the county show this week, and came across a tape with a whole load of footage that was originally destined to go into SWTC Volume 2, but due to me not being able to find the tape, never made it. Just out of interest, has anyone else lost the seal on the Joe Blows valve mechanism? Mine went a while ago now and I've never been able to get a replacement so I just have to hold my thumb over it when pumping, but, meh, that gets a bit annoying (people wonder why I run my tyres so low....) Rich

Am I alone in thinking Thomas Ohler and TRA might have some kind of seperated at birth thing going on? Awesome vid, and yeah, what the hell was that noise? The coust brothers bikes seem to make the same kind of noise as well. Is this like their secret to being better riders? Oh well, awesome nontheless. Rich

As movies become more graphic, protestors become more violent, the media becomes more controversial, people fly planes into buildings in the name of their religion and kids run riot in schools with 9mm's and Uzi's, is anyone really surprised that something like this has happened? Eminem said in one of his songs that kids have the discovery channel now and implied that thats where most of their sexual education comes from. Parents leave their kids at home watching rhino's and wilderbeast mounting each other and people are surprised that kids try and emulate it in school? Show me an 8 year old that pays ANY attention to a disclaimer on that kind of program, and I'll show you a fish that talks Welsh. I can't honestly imagine it would have been anything more than a bit of golden showers going on but kids these days see something on TV directed at adults, and - like an alarming number of adults presented with the opposite situation - get it dead wrong. Jonty Tupman (Matt's little brother) has a tiny little 12" wheeled monty. It's so cool....... He also had a little Koxx-stickered frame before that. I say get some cheap avids like SD3's but maybe get some more adjustable levers for little hands. Rich

A whole lot of people have injured themselves in pretty hideous ways weather they're riding trials or if the injuries they have are hindering them from riding. People like Physio (Simon Lord) have helped a whole heap of people on here from Tunni to Waynio and from Dave Cleaver to me, but there are a lot of people posting threads about their injuries which clogs up the forum and makes people like Simons job harder. So.... Have you hurt yourself? Do you think you have an injury which could do with looking at? Do you know someone or even better ARE you someone who is trained to solve these kinds of problems? If you have hurt yourself then post the details of it in here so as it can all be kept in one place, and if you can help people and want to or know someone who is willing to help people, leave your/their contact details here. Just to give people an idea..... Simon went down to see Andrei Burton to sort out a buggered ankle, and after a good chat with Andrei, found a whole heap of degenerative problems with his arms, legs and back. With Simons help, Andrei is back on his feet (literally) and is tougher than ever. If you have anything that you're not sure about, post it in here and/or get in touch with someone like Simon. Hopefully this can help solve problems like Waynes who had to ask around for physio advice, and can also give people who have injured themselves a way of making contact with the people who can really help them. I thought the frame looked a little odd. Awesome vid man, really made me want to go ride. Now, do it all again with a helmet on and make the video quality about ten times better and you've got a winner. Loving it.... Rich

I'm glad he's at least had the sense to keep this stuff in America. The whole glass box above the Thames was just silly. I mean, did the guy expect us to applaud or something? Christ...... But this stuff does look pretty damn cool with the whole underwater thing. Anyone who's had a serious hangover knows what its like to be 40-days type hungry, but this is something most people will hardly ever experience. But I very much doubt he's gonna make a world record for holding his breath. As soon as he can't hold it anymore he'll probably just break for the surface and then who knows the kind of shit the pressure change is gonna do to his lungs. Rich
