UPDATE: Wasn't sure if this was still happening due to the problems Andy's been having with the comp on the first day of the trip but as its now on, heres the score: 6th: NBR Comp - Will either camp there or at a farm in West Bay (see day two) owned by a friend of mine. 7th: West Bay - Camping night before possibly and night after at afore mentioned venue (see day 1) 8th: Bristol - not stopping 9th: Taunton - Will stay night before and after at Bens farm. 10th: Barnstaple - Not stopping 11th: Exeter - Will have camped night before at a farm belonging to another friend somewhere between Barny and Exeter, to be confirmed. 12th: Dartmoor - Will stay night before and after on Dartmoor (sorting it with Matt) 13th: Plymouth - End of trip. Everyone go home and sleep. Unless Kireon persuades me to go on to Minions in Cornwall (unlikely... ) So thats the low down. Camping space at all locations is basically unlimited as all the grounds privately owned so anyone is welcome to join in. Just a few of us are doing every stop but theres a fair number who've said they'll be coming to the odd one or two, so bring on the beer and lack of sleep induced mayhem. See you all at the NBR comp. Well I suppose as this post was aimed at me I should put in my two cents.... Angry Greg (who actually is called Greg, and is a riding buddy of mine) is not an idiot, he's extremely clever, well spoken, mature, intelligent and has the shortest fuse ever. He is one of the most bloody-minded, beligerant and irrational people I've ever met, and like everyone, he occasionally has a rant at the world. Well worth validating though.... And yeah, my videos do rock. Rich

180mm is definately strong enough. 200mm would be over kill. 200 takes about a year anda day to bed in, the modualtion is shocking adn the power is almost uncontrolable. 180 is the szhizzle (or so I've found.) My setup is (almost identicle to Adams) Mono trial, hope +20 (making 180) 36h rear rim and that works awesome. Are you actually looking to buy a disc frame? As I do have a Leeson prototype that needs a new home.... Rich

This has got to be the stupidest post I've ever seen in NMC, which is worrying considering it was started by an SM. Like Danny I personally couldn't care less and don't care much for the elitist attitudes of a lot of people on here, but I don't like it when people try and say: ...or tell me I'm: , no one ever ASKS to be a senior member, I know I certainly didn't and wouldn't care less if I was put back in members, I wouldn't particularly like to think of myself as being sad or spending too much time on here (says he, sitting up at half 11 on a sunday writing some response to a dumb ass topic....) Mate, you kow how good my V was. Worked for years with no troubles. I had: XTR calipers and levers, Shimano XTR Booster (also ran a bog standard unbranded one for a while which worked just as well) Clarkes cables, Echo Clear pads and a sun rhyno lyte with a light grind (which you did incidently). Catch me on MSN and we'll talk about the set of XTR's I happen to have lying around if you're interested. Rich

I hear what your saying Chris. What I said in the video certainly goes a lot deeper than trials. I haver real issues at the moment with a lot of people who I'm forced to get on with but just can't becasue of their opinions, generally centering on a certain issues that happened with me and my girlfriend recently (if you want to know more, ask Tic, I'm not really comfortable talking about it on a public forum). But Phil's video just really got me stoked and thinking which is why I made this one with the brief in mind that I could bring to attention and say out loud what a lot of people are thinking. Rich

Its a piece of A level course work, a promo video and its a personal statement concerning reactions of the public, much like what Phil Feeney did with the Define This video which is kind of what inspired me to make this one.
