  2. I know a few people are gonna be at Koxx days but just wondering who else is going. If you're thinking of coming Hut Hill's a pretty cool venue and well worth making the trip. See y'all there. Rich
  3. If you bring the durex. Rich
  4. So thats me, Rochelle (the missus) Andrei (Burton), Tic, possibly Steve and Rob, possibly prawnstar and Jonny plus one. Theres a load of downhill and street/dirt riders I know from Taunton and the surrounding area who are coming aswell, so should be a pretty good gig. Everyone up for a ride afterwards? How many people need a place to stay? Tics staying and Fred if you still need a place no worries. Am looking forward to this. Rich
  5. Nick said something to me about 12quid, but don't quote me, could be anything. Rich

Damn you, got me all excited............ Rich
  8. Probably the most mature approach I've heard anyone make to on this subject. Dj did die in tragic circumstances yet the last thing I'm sure he'd want was people getting aggro over the subject. It is perfectly reasonable that new members of the forum will ask about DJ as almost everywhere you look there is some small tribute to him weather its in a members signature, people talking about FBM or the DJ rides, etc, so perhaps it is worth asking existing forum members to try and approach questions like this with an ADEQUATE amount of respect and civility but with the right to be informative. 9. The firth borthers explain it pretty well at the end of TM1, with quite a few examples of how NOT to do it. Erm, I would of course say 26", but not just for the diameter. Generally 20" riders run lower pressures and on a rail their tyres will rim out a lot easier, creating a lot of bounce and becoming more unstable. 26" riders will often have slightly higher pressures and nonetheless have more volume of tube for the air to travel around when it is compressed by the impact of landing on the rail. Make sense? Nah it doesn't to me either... Rich
  10. ...you bloody well will be when you slip a few discs in your spine due to impact trauma. But good on you nonetheless. I was in a wheelchair for about three months with two broken feet, got pretty damn good at wheelies suchlike. Rich
  11. Hell yes mate. Based a large amount of my teenage years around that film. Rich
  12. I reckon its gonna have to be ride THEN party, as last time it was well past noon before anyone really started to leave the next day, so I doubt any riding's really gonna happen.... I reckon party and ride on the Sunday. My two cents... Rich
  13. When someone offers you a full weekend NASS ticket, entry to the trials comp and free beer, all for kicking someone in the pussy, you do generally find it hard to hang on to your morals... If theres no room for me at Jons I shotgun first dibs on Prawns bed. Rich
  14. The Lord of the Rings Return of the King - as bad as the first two, but my god would that f**king film ever end.... The Cable Guy - the day that Jim Carey's career nearly took a turn for the dole office. Castaway - f**k I hate Tom Hanks Eraserhead - supposed to be one the most groudbreaking and revolutionary cinematic masterpieces of its time, but its just shit. Modern art doesn't transfer onto the silver screen... Could say the same about Citizen Cane. Blade Trinity - complete let down after the first two. The Crow 4 - Lets just go and murder a genre thats already on deaths door.... What f**kers..... The Matrix Trilogy - Cost nearly 1 Billion US dollars to make. Is anything worth that much? This sure as shit wasn't. I get really aggro about bad films I'm sorry.... Rich
  15. The Godfather The Crow The Passion of the Christ The Elephant Man Withnail and I 28 Days Later Scarface Heat Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas Oldboy Other goodies not quite making my top ten: The Wicker Man, The Rock, Raiders of the Lost Ark, Untouchables, Waterworld, Green Street Hooligans, TrialMedia 1, American Psycho, The Life of David Gale, Dog Day Afternoon, A Beautiful Mind. Can't believe more people haven't said Heat.... Rich
  16. tv.isg.si Just uploaded most of my better videos from the last 3 years to tv.isg.si a la Prawn and Boon. Theres a few which aren't on there and a few more that may come up but otherwise enjoy. Rich
  17. Any one else have to take a few deep breaths at around 2:16 minutes into the vid? Sexist remarks aside she's got potential, and f**king hell that park looked awesome. Rich
  18. As I say, I was pretty drunk, I thought it was both headlights, meh. So let me get this straight..... Just been looking at dates and I'm a little confused. the 14th is a friday. Are we partying and riding on the Friday (14th) or on the Saturday (15th), as I'm not really sure I follow..... Rich EDIT: My bad, was looking at the wrong month in the calender......
  19. Those are all (roughly) my limits and I would, not trying to be too up myself or anything, consider myself to be a pretty average rider. Size doesn't make you a good rider. I can probably go bigger than quite a few of todays pro's (not going to name anyone as a I may be wrong and don't want to start an "I'm better than you because..." argument) but the point is, they're all pro's, and I'm not. I can go bigger, but they ARE better riders. Simple as. Size doesn't mean shit, but the poeple I have the most respect for are those who go big but have managed to justify themselves in other ways and not be stereotyped. Porter is an excellent example. 49" sidehops, 50" taps, etc, etc, and still holds his own in a competition enviroment. Rich
  20. I knew this would happen......... Anyone who needs a place to stay is more than welcome to crash on my floor as i live literally five minutes walk from the Brewhouse theatre. Just booked two tickets for me and the missus, buy now if you're going as the tickets seem to be going quite quick. I'm on row F in the middle if any feels like being sociable..... Me and the missus are going, hope to see a lot of others there. Rich
  21. Things I remember from last year: Jon (Shrewsbury) hanging on to me for dear life whilst stood on top of a garage trying to get the nuts up to drop to the fridge. Chai riding without any shoes on and losing rather a lot of hair. Lee slamming the bonnet of his car and both headlights simultaneously smashing. And that was about it........ You know I'm there Jon, and looking forward to it. Rich
  22. For people like me (who have buggered ankles) pixie boots keep your foot nice and snug in the shoe, whereas when I tried riding the other day with skate shoes on, I managed to sprain my ankle three times in one day. They just move around on your foot too much. I also just prefer the feel, although for aesthetic value, skate shoes anyday. You look like a pro whore wearign pixie boots.... Rich
