  1. Monty 221 ti definately. Ive just got one, did have a tpro (similar chainstay length and wheelbase to an echo team short), which I put a stock stem on to make it more bmxy/streety, and I have to say, even with the longest and lowest bar and stem I could get, it manuals really really nicely, and 360s have become a thing of the past.lol. Although it is a comp-orientated frame, it does ride street rather nice.
  2. lol, keep up the good work guys. Thats what we liek to see

I love springy frames, much nicer feeling than ultra-stiff i think, they have more character

Officially, ti is supposed to be 60% of the weight of steel, and 6 times as strong, but has a nice springly-like flex property like steel, with high fatigue resistance. That should make it a much better material for trials than any of these materials, however because it would be made with such thin walls, it would dent easily. So if they were made with thicker walls, although they would be harder to dent, they would be hugely unneccesarily strong and expesive, seeing as the material is expensive and much harder to make frames out of.
  5. How about changing ur stem geometry? Can make a lot of difference! Try a higher or longer stem, I find that higher stems feel much nicer than a low front end and allow you to sidehop higher easier, but they restrict gapping and hooking a bit. I think on a python, a viz stem with zoo bars would be my personal choice, you can get away with the higher bars more easily on a longer bike, because proportionally, it doesnt make so much of a difference in restricting your movement for gapping and hooks. Hope this helps
  6. Mmmmm I love my monty 221 I changed to from my tpro, with its 980 wheelbase. Lol. Great on the backwheel, sidehops awesome, gaps great and manuals like a bmx! Its improved my riding in the week Ive had it! But joking apart, Im sure you will get used to the python when you ride it more and more, and will grow to love its geo.
  7. So can you not get a rim wider than 38mm that ISNT a koxx style rim (e.g. hog or viz)?
  8. Are there no rims other than the koxx style rims (e.g. onza hog, viz, etc) which can come wider than 38mm? Ive got a dx32 atm, but want to go wider and preferably lighter
  9. Sounds nice, personally Id have had a higher BB though, but other than that, I expect it will be great!
  10. Nah i wouldnt want to wreck its lovely anodised metal cheeseness, and I wouldnt want to anyway. Doesnt anyone use the actual CRC stuff?
  11. So I take it its not that great after all?? And no, I hate the feel of grinds personally. Wouldnt work too well on the viz rims im planning to get anyway! lol
  12. Hi, I want to get some of this stuff cos Ive heard good things about it from a couple of people on here, but I cant get it in my local DIY shop. Where can you get it from, and how much does it cost? Do you need to go to a big place like B&Q or something? Also, how would people describe its affects on braking, and how long does it last? Cheers, Scott
  13. That has to be by far the best looking t-pro i have ever seen.
  14. monty or maxxis for predictable grip and good bounce

That really does look nice. When the pic was loading and slowly appearing down the screen and i could see all this black, for some reason i was thinking ET24... guess it just looks really streety in black IMO. If you had black middleburns it would look awesome. Oh and I personally really like the blue chain, is it a connex wipperman?

Can anyone host it somewhere please please please?
  17. ?? NASA was accused of copying Ashton in the bike trials magazine I had at the time.
  18. Wheres the comp? I heard its in burley?? Thats weird, I didnt know and i live practically there! :ermm: If its in Burley then I'll probs go and have a t-shirt off u (in small/medium) and my m8 will probs have a hoody off you if he goes too.
  19. Why did using a profile break the old ones?
  20. Get the 158mms :ermm: I had 175mms for my first two pairs of trials cranks, then moved to 170mm racefaces and middleburns, now i have 158mm. To be honest I dont think it makes as much of a difference as some people would say/think, although the monty cranks in my opinion are perfect- solid, light, cheaper, and they dont restrict my gapping.
  21. I think its georgeous. (Y)
  22. Whats wrong with the normalone? Plenty powerful enough it seems, much more than you would expect from a smaller disk, as a guess the 180mm would probably be a little too powerful/sharp IMO?
  23. I wanna see this 15foot.. Did he take a long run up to roll it? Was it just a "keg it and hop at 100mph" technique? lol. How tall is beneto by the way? And how old is he/what kinda build?
  24. Are they both better than say a koxx levelbos short though?
