  1. yeah, i started to notice all that soon after i posted it.. i think i only want about, dunno.. 70 watts total rms? will that be reasonably loud for a set of pc speakers in my bedroom? would that be alright for a bit of a party in the next room? http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Logitech-X-530-5-1-S...1QQcmdZViewItem Bare in mind my budget is only around £50 posted max, so those are pushing it! A couple of the cheaper ones around 40 posted have an amp built in to the subwoofer, but i think they are around the same 50-70w RMS total output too Cheers
  2. Okay, so I want some very cheap (im very low on funds as a student), but loud-ish PC speakers to blow my mate nextdoor's basic hifi out of the picture. Looking on ebay there are a number of very interesting deals, for example: <a href="http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/NEW-1000W-PMPO-Silver-5-1-PC-Surround-Sound-Speakers_W0QQitemZ140170503946QQihZ004QQcategoryZ3702QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcm dZViewItem" target="_blank">http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/NEW-1000W-PMPO-Silve...1QQcmdZViewItem</a> A THOUSAND WATTS PMPO!!?!?!? 30 quid posted!? obviosly these can't be great quality, and infact i can't understand how they can possibly be 1000 watts... any ideas?? There's a number of very loud cheapo speakers on there, for example also: <a href="http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/New-2-1-Black-PC-ipod-mp3-Speakers-500w-PMPO-Sub_W0QQitemZ160169899632QQihZ006QQcategoryZ3702QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZVie wItem" target="_blank">http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/New-2-1-Black-PC-ipo...1QQcmdZViewItem</a> These look pretty sweet for 40 posted, 500w!!? how can this be?? Any advice would be greatly appreciated from someone who know's what they're talking about, or anyone who knows someone with insanely loud cheapo speakers! Cheers, Scott
  3. sorry only just noticed this little comments section thingy..

are you still interested in my adamant long frame?

ill lower the price to 130 posted cos i need the funds badly

  4. say 130 posted and we got a (relauctant) deal. Its a sweet frame and I'll be sad to see it gone, it was 300 only a few months ago!

  5. personally i massively prefer try-all tyres to any other the feel is amasingly springy and better than others IMO, and the extra weight is due to the thick walls- works weel with a lightweight thin innertube. you might still get thorn punctures, but i havent had one of those in ages.. i used to pinch my maxxis creepy crawlers (on mod) and most of my stock tyres after very little time cos of my unsmooth gapping/upping style, but i got away with it all with the try-alls and a talcom-powdered thin innertube

  9. i had no idea ur 17!? makes me feel well old..
  10. be involved in a life-endangering moment but make it out alive random thing that comes to my head was when i tried to swim with my brother to a distant island using an inflateable, but got washed several miles out to sea. luckily i got rescued though!
  11. it just depends on the person. i did maths and further maths and got an A, thought it was fairly hard but personally i found english MUCH harder, and got a C in that even though i really tried. most people would say it the other way round, but thats just cos im bollocks at writing but good at mathsy stuff.. perhaps ask yourself how you found gcse maths?
  12. jt ive had a similar but ridiculously bad problem with my maggies, i just took the lever COMPLETELY apart and cleaned them entirely out, re-assembled and bled with water. now i have no problems and i know my maggies inside out, i'd reccomend it. p.s. i had to use a mallet and small allenkey/spoke
  13. wow, im pretty impressed here.. what length is the chainstays? they look shorter than the old limey! and whats the frame weight?
  14. Recognised a lotta the riding spots from places like sandbanks and poole, where abouts r u from? im from ringwood
  15. hehe, montys gotta be one of the easiest trials bikes to manual? after watching these two billoks vids on atm, i have to say he's a lot more genuniely skilled than i was expecting. sweet riding bud, keep it up! glad to see the power's getting used in those moves now you're growin up, cos ITS ALL ABOUT GIVIN IT THE BEANSPROUTS
  16. wtf, amasing? maybe the best wippersnapper ive seen.. the only one ive seen who can put some power into his moves, some of those gaps and sidehops looked fairly big!
  17. but u cant tell from the pic that the sidewalls are thin? u can just see the top of the sidewall, which is thick? id imagine its probably seen a few grinds though lol! ive only given it one or two average grinds, but it was a second hand wheel so I have no idea! echo 07 it is shame theres a long wait on the tarty wheelbuilds at the moment! ..a couple of months not riding..
  18. Ive been well unlucky lately with my bikes just got my rig built up after the front disk folded on a gap and now the rear sidewall ripped off on a gap too lol Are the latest echo rims better than last years? I thought they were meant to be amasing, but people said things about them cracking last year? Scott
  19. I had to take mine all apart, and where the hose comes out push a spoke up inside to push the piston back out. And now I am very weary while bleeding the brake- if both bolts at the ends of the system are closed it's fine for the lever to be compressed and will return, but while bleeding I don't compress the lever fully! Hope that helps
  20. dunno if its been said already cos i cudnt b assed to read through all the posts but i ran the SLIGHTLY heavier (but still very cheap and light) american classics hub from tarty (which is more lightweight XC than ultralight roadhub) worked flawlessly for me, id reccomend them!
  21. you could have time-warped forwards in time after the passport expired, and hence be younger now then the passport says. so i dont blame them
  22. Hopefully U'll get back into it, my broken ankle certainly didnt hinder me.. it was my wrist tendon/ligament damage which took/is taking much much longer to heal!
