  1. Steer clear from Echo / GU pads until they are confirmed to be 100% shit. I'd say stay away from zoo pads cos they're wank too. Stick to what most people use - Koxx / Plaz / Coust :P
  2. Cut them down though, they're about 2836465785.9696 inches wide. I run base risers, cut down to 25" and they are perfect. But then again, everyone like different things.... (still cut them down) :P
  3. Aye tis good, i must download more actually, only got 6 episodes, cheers for the reminder :P
  4. Not worth the risk IMO, a bmx hub on stock with inevitably break sooner or later. What about getting a second hand king?
  5. You're avatar reminds me of kids, i hate kids, you should have an avatar with you beating some kids up with a piece of wood with a nail in it. 0.6 / 10
  6. Aye, too late now, and i'm already in 2 secret santas :) If you wanted to do this next year, you'd need a real fool proof plan (so i can join in).
  7. New toolbox - one of those red stacker jobbies, Few clothes, chocolate, booze, and my mum has paid for me to go skiing 16th - 23rd dec in france (not an expensive holiday, before joe shits himself with jelousy :) ) and that's it. Christmas will be shit anyway seeing as my parents are split up now but living under the same roof still.
  8. Pic looks pretty gash, almost looks like a bail, no real piccy 'pose'. 3.8970650877654376547654 / 10
  9. To Sam: Your pic's getting old, well done for having the balls to post your own face as an avatar though. 6/10.
  10. The codes have already run out. I just tried to use one >_< Thanks anyway though....
  11. Gearing does make a difference! Start running 18:15 ASAP or you'll find progressing to be very hard.
  12. Make some proper ghetto ones in paint then
  13. Likewise. The best two bikes i have ever ridden are: My Echo ES4r R.I.P And my current Echo Pure.
  14. The brisa's ride very nicely, no need to upgrade to a frame that everyone has IMO. Try to get him down to £500, but still £550 is reasonable.
  15. Everyone knows that 20" is cheating >_<
  16. Yeah a mono will be fine, you don't even need to service it that often (every 4 months or so, every month if you want to run WD40 / GT85 in it), and they're easy to do. I had no problems with my mono at all. However i have recently upgraded to a King Classic with steel driveshell, HD axle, fun bolts and trials spring (sorry, had to brag >_< ) And i can tell the difference, can't tell enough difference to justify the price i paid though lol.
  17. Pads: Coust 50mm Time used: About 40 hours of riding on trials and 4/5 hours on bmx Rim used: BMF / Alex chrome Grind: Yes/No Yes on the BMF even though it's dead Brake used: Magura/V Maggy for the BMF / Odessey evolver for the alex chrome jobby What is your opinion of a working brake: Some modulation, no slip when lever pulled in as much as poss. How do they compare to previous pads you have used: Much better, even though the heatsinks i used were good. Review: They work how i like a brake to work, if anything slips, it's always the tyre. Once they bed in (takes 10 mins) they are the absolute tits. I will never use anything other than coust on either trials or bmx. However, the modulation is slightly less on the bmx. But still if coust pads are available, that's what i'll run.
  18. You could take it off and relist, but that'd take time, money and effort.
  19. My vote goes for the pure over the t-rex. That's the change i have recently done and it's so much nicer to ride :S
  20. Do you wanna fight these guys or something? (Y)
  21. Done that one before, for about 8 years on the trot, so i thought it's about time for a change :P But then again consitency is always good and sock are cheap as socks. Lambretta clock for dad and possibly a facial for mum, depending on how much dorrah i have left.
  22. Cos in the ghetto they can spot real value for dolla and they can't afford bleed kits :P
  23. An Avid BB7 is deffo better than a Mini, because for the price of the mini, you could get: *Avid BB7 Caliper with a 180 rotor *XTR lever *EBC red pads *Some slick cable or normal cable with a bit of GT monkey in it. Which equals a brake which is the ultimate tits. :P
