Recently watched Jackass 3D, Red and The Other Guys and that's how I'd rank them if I'm honest. Jackass was hilarious, Red was really good aswell. Surprisingly funny. The Other Guys was pretty average really. Bit disappointing...

AUG is lush, really really good. Like I said, I use extended mags on literally everything. So no surprise I'd say extended is the way to go for the AUG. The iron sights are the same as the famas off MW2 and the same as the G11

The update was also to patch the matchmaking, as anyone who's tried getting parties to play together might have found it can be a pain in the arse. I hear they have also changed the match voting and nerfed ak-47u slightly...

CoD 4 will remain the best in the series, mainly because it was simple. And in fairness to activision/infinityward/treyarch they couldn't keep it simple because people would then complain about paying £40-£45 for a very similar game. I'm really starting to like the game, on LAN's it could be brilliant, I'm just way over the public lobbies now...

Thought I'd cast my opinion in on this as a sponsored gamer (which I have been on CoD4, MW2 and Fifa). Basically single player (which in fairness has nothing to do with the sponsorship) I thought was actually quite fun. The levels are varied and although the first few levels took a while to get me into the game, I really got into the story later on. I completed it on Veteran in roughly the same amount of time as MW2 which was about 5 and a half hours, which is shorter then CoD4 which took me FOREVER on Veteran. But anyway, onto the important part, Multiplayer. First thing I noticed straight away was the sheer amount of bullets it takes to kill people. It seems to take an awful lot more which is good and bad. I noticed earlier in the thread someone said the sound overall was tinny and I agree. The guns all seem to lack punch and the most powerful thing on multiplay seems to be the C4 which is obscene. It does seem though (like every other CoD) that there is only a few guns that will be used in the competitive scene. The Ak-74u (which I was so glad to see is back) seems to be the only SMG that you need, Assault rifle wise the Ak-47 and the G11 (the classified assault rifle, unlocked by buying all other assault rifles) are pretty much all you need although I am quite enjoying using the AUG and even though its not as powerful as it was the M16 is ok. Attachments wise I dont understand why anything other then extended mags is ever used. I can appreciate sights on maybe the M16 but it takes so many bullets to kill people if you get caught in a 2 on 1 you will rarely have enough bullets to take both without reloading and therefore dying. As for maps, there seems to be a couple of good ones. Firing Range, Summit, Jungle and Nuketown on certain gametypes.The spawns are pretty bad at the moment, which is more noticable on the smaller maps. I've had plenty of spawn problems (the 5m spawn radius is shocking) and it's something that needs to be sorted. There are still plenty of spawn traps, 2 of which I found within 2 hours of gameplay. And within 1 round of Summit I found 4 traps on the map alone which meant that my team would have absolutely raped if kids would just hold back but never mind. I really like the fact that on search and destroy, lethal grenades and noob tubes are duds for the first few seconds of the round. Stops the spawn tubing and nades which is great. I also like the fact that quick scoping has been nerfed. It was far too easy on MW2, im glad it actually takes alot of skill to get them right now. Killstreaks wise I'm not really interested as they are banned in competitive games but the one where you basically become a running turret is absolutely hilarious and the 11 killstreak gunner is obscene. Rediculous firepower. I also HATE the RC-XD. Such an annoying killstreak. Overall I'm really liking it, theres nothing really wrong with it, its just very different online and I think that is why people are against it at the moment. Everyone in the competitive scene has adopted it without dramas which is nice because that certainly wasn't the case on MW2

Thats why I started this, because i'm so out of the loop. Those specs are minimums really... I was just looking at this. From what I read that seems to cover the specs I needed and then some.

Another one of these threads is probably going to piss people off but meh, i'll lob it in RSQ if it annoys you THAT much. Anyway, I'm after a new laptop but I'm terrible at searching for them and have a few specific requirements in mind... Firstly I need a Dual Core Processor (around 2GHz) and a graphics card with 256MB of memory at the least and it has to have a sound card. Don't worry about price for now, just need to work out what I'll be spending to get something with those specs. Cheers for the help in advance. In all fairness, having just had a suggestion from a mate, I could go for a desktop PC with the same spec if someone can recommend a decent one.

Ok then... Haha. Next time we play a 4 v 4 Capture the Flag game on Highrise I will record it and show you how we spawn trap it with 3 men and run flags.

Those people that are saying its easy to get out of the Highrise spawn trap, get a team of 4 together and play my team. The trap is obscene, very difficult to get out of.

All those people complaining about noob tubes etc need to realise that its a game that is meant to appeal to the masses. It means less skilled players can actually get kills. as annoying as it is it keeps it entertaining for them... Youtube uploader is shit....

I've got two gamertags, Shoelessboy I use mainly and Xa VeNdEtTa I use when meeting up with the rest of the Xa team. As for the youtube videos, some are mine, some are other people from the team i'm in as that is our channel. I record with a dazzle and therefore play in standard def most of the time, Xa BR1C3Y has a HD PVR and it will be his videos that are the ones in HD. Shame really because he barely ever records. And yeah the quality on my dazzle if pretty darn good if I give it enough time, seems to need to warm up and then its all good.
