  1. Sainsburys also do the 8p noodles. They are ectually pretty damn good. I normally add a few dried chilli flakes for some extra bite, but basicly as good as the 40p Super Noodles. Can get a weeks worth of lunchtime food for less than a squid!! Bargain :P
  2. Exactly what I told him to do...
  3. START MENU __ ALL PROGRAMMES ___ ACCESSORIES ____ COMMUNICATIONS
  4. what i did with my cheapo BT dongle I got off good old Ebay for £13 was.... Plug it in Use XP Bluetooth file transfer wizard (think you just need to name you PC perhaps, also you will need to search for devices with your phone I expect, should only have to do this once as you will be able to add it) transfer things to and from my phone succesfully..... I would suspect that you should give it ago without the CD etc. just see if it works with the built in XP software (I know it sounds silly, but it might just work) This is the proof of it working.... a rather grainy pic from my K700i, of this post before i edited it to have a picture within a picture, just for the sake of it...
  5. http://www.lboro.ac.uk/prospectus/ug/fs/index.htm The foundation outline, with all the modules. http://www.lboro.ac.uk/prospectus/ug/iptme/me/index.htm Material Eng. I do it with management studies meaning i have even less modules which contain any heavy maths type stuff. The only real ones are the maths and the mechanics modules which you have to take 2 of in the first year or so... You should be able to cope though, you do get taught how to do it.
  6. Foundation years are cool enough, its an extra year at uni which isn't a bad thing really. I did mine at loughborough and it basically involved A-Level maths and physics as well as chemistry.. combined with other engineeringy type modules etc. Was good stuff. Im doing materials Eng. though which doesn't really have 'maths' in it after the first year.. If your crap at maths you may well struggle in Civil Eng as Spacemunkee said its pretty equation intensive. (My bro has compleated a MEng in it at Surry ((which is incidently a better uni for civil i think)). Just go for it though, if its what you want you can but try eh? Do the placement too, it will help you big time. 5 years+ at uni is just about the right amount of time me thinks (Y)
  7. pretty sure its been on ch 5 before. at about 1am worth a watch though
  8. He's doing well to be turning over 1.6million if its just a trials shop I would have said. Eiather its all lies... or e actually runs some kinda distribution firm and happens to sell trials parts too. Hence him worrying more about his otehr areas of businesss which actually get him seriou $$$ perhaps. I just wouldn't order from them myslef.... though on that note people slated Winstanleys BMX biiiig styleeeee on nearly every forum. They have sorted me out twice with immense speed of delivery etc. so its possible companies can change
  9. Also look here http://www.hexcel.com/Markets/Automotive/ might have some interesting info. :S
  10. To those of you considering NANO's you might wanna make sure you watch the news  I saw a Creative 'sleek' it looked pretty tasty, think they are prolly a good alternative to IPOD mini's etc. As Tomm said if you want cheap just get the Muvo

So true Joe - I too was making noises out loud. Like ooooooh manual line!!! Etc. Really good video, not stupid big taps but oh the styleeeeeeee
  13. If i try to look at TF in IE not only does it take forever after a while it throws a spaz and a million and one IE windows open up and I cannie stop them for shite. Only just reformatted so its not likely to be a virus etc....
  14. I have some on my bike which is never used but would definately reccomend them Good - Arguably a firmer hold/less liekly to let the wheel slip - Less likely to get damaged/bent/fooked - Stiffer rear end - Stronger - Looks cleaner - Probably lighter Bad - You have to have the 8mm allen Key on you to take your wheel off - You need to pay extra for them and require the HD axel as well.
  15. In my IE it doesn't load the pages properly, it take forever and ever.... Also in the status bar it looks to be trying to load from the C:/ drive or something which might be causing the problem.
  16. Due to the fact that the Nano has come out now, I expect that Walkers got a mega bargin deal for the Ipod minis they bought from Apple. I still wouldn't complain though if I won one for free.... Code generaters are cheating somewhat though I think.. Plus as Alex said I wonder if they can work out who is using the generated codes and not let them win... you won't ever know unless you win using one of them every time you text you could be wasting your money/credit/time...
  17. mines tiny as I have no ripped DVD's or anything.... Its the Desktop thats massive anyway, all bmx/trials vids go straight to desktop... not into video folders :">

    Puzzle Time

you mean the graph paper is not the same, the triangles are just altered due to the spacing of the lines.... I'm just splitting hairs here
  19. http://www.trials-forum.co.uk/forum/index....pe=post&id=1523 how do i relink to previous attachements? Danny/Tom?? So that it comes up as a picture not a link? As i can't be bothered to upload the same pic again!
  20. Cramner definately deserved the win. The only thing i can think that did it for Mirra was the sick tailwhip into the 1/4 on the box (in that he jumped it the wrong way) . Cramner did double whip the right way as styleee as mirra then into a corkscrew..!!! mental Front flip is inventive too!
  21. I don't wear gloves as I don't like the loss of feel you get when you add a layer of fabric between your hands and the bike, plus if they are not really tight fitting I think they allow some movement too. Personaly I would use richey foam grips or perhaps Yeti Hardcore grips for comfort. Obviously in the winter months the hands get a little chilly so there is a need for gloves then I guess. shinpads are a very good idea, but your legs will get sweaty

    New Vid !

Niiiice video. I like no music, listening to smooth riding is always good I think. Loving the line at the end with manuals, flowed a treat :(
  23. SAM HOLMES I like the improvements you have made :P Was the font change because of my comment :"> :( And Joe.. shurely that should be pink on black.... I hate white tee's i think..

    New Site

Not impressed to be honest. designs are far far toooo boring.... 'Interact clothing' across a T means nothing to most people.... as the design is just text its pretty lame, the colours are plain, not interesting chocolate browns or greens etc... All you have is a black T shirt with a couple of words on there. As Said T-shirt 5 is actually pretty cool (with the blood splatter and tyre treads. The text talk and spelling is shocking also.
  25. It depends if you want to be a Mechanic or an engineer.... These days 'engineers' are infact as MrMonkey said actually machine mechanics. If you want to do engineering.. ie the design and manufacturing side of things, not hitting them with a hammer etc. you will most likely need to do A-levels and Degree etc. If you want to be able to weld, weald a spanner properly and actually become a pretty useful person and I guess potentially earn lots of money (plumbers, mechanics and electrictians etc.) I would go to collage and do a relevant HNC or GNVQ type thingy....
