  1. Its not really gonna be any other kinda rust on a bike frame thats only a couple of years old...... Looks like a sweet job has been done painting it up too, well done
  2. Sweet vid there, really enjoyed watching that. Thought the editing was interesting in places, sometimes a little over done perhaps. But made it more interesting to wathc for sure.
  3. His spelling and grammer isn't too hot, so probably some foreign schemer. Hes a pilot for American airlines so should be fairly literate etc..... I'm also pretty sure Western Union stuff isa little skechy for transfers with people you don't know. Out of interest what is the item he will pay £200 for?
  4. If in doubt just buy some new cranks etc. cheapo ones like this will do if your only 'riding to work'
  5. Ahaha I only got a B at GCSE (though crappy teacher), I found the maths 'ok' was passing foundation ok with some hard work. Did fail one maths module at Uni though Should be ok. I was more thinking of people who have avoided maths because they were pretty crap at it... not that they don't 'like' it as such.
  6. Nothing is set in stone dependant on what degree you do.... Foundation years are good though, if you really find maths hard it won't be any easier as its hard core stuf still. Plus at loughborough you have to pass with certian grades for different courses, not simply scrape through kinda thing. though if your scraping the foundation odds are your only gonna scrape a full on degree. A foundation degree could really tell you what your cut out for though. If your a mega hands on lover it sounds like your gonna wanna be doing labouring etc. Not a job as a 'proffesional' as such.
  7. I'm thinking i will get this one very soon, might be the same one as Tom is talking about but at the mo Ebuyer is being pants on my pc. Looks very buget but have seen good enough reviews for it on most places it is sold. this one can come with a 1GB card for less than £30... IMO the cost of a battery charger is mimimal really when you consider the low cost of the original. Plus batteries can be replaced easy rather than the unit being defunked if the internal battery packs up....
  8. Basicly if you want to earn more money you will have to pay more tax, its a simple fact... The more you earn the more you will get taxed. The % you get taxed will vary depending on how much in TOTAL you will earn in a year, the tax people are not stupid and will be able to add up the two jobs lol. To be hoenst, I think your crazy to be wanting to work two jobs and do those hours 5 days a week... Should perhaps reconsider whatever it is thats making you need all this money... (car, house, drugs etc. )
  9. Alternatively it could be a cracked frame, my PX zebber was badly cracked and made the brake rub when i pedalled, was fine when not pedalling.......
  10. If i had ridden brakeless I would probably be in hosptial today, as they are very handy for slamming the anchors on so you don't get hit by a bus when crossing the road without paying proper attention. Ended up inches from the bus, after it had slammed its brakes on, I was parrelel to it as had skid round 90° in an attempt to not go further across the road, it worked, wouldn't have been able to without a brake though. You know you can ride brakeless with a brake on, jsut don't use it, except for emergencies. If you death grip the bars you won't be able to use it for trickery, but in life or death it might be of use.... Go the other side of cool and use two brakes, is also an idea used by pro's again these days...
  11. Avid mechanicals for the win, purely because I never broke mine in all the time I used it. It was also more powerfull than the two hope mini's I had used (and broken both in one way or another, cable leak, or seal leaks etc.) Hydrylics may be considered a no brainer win for DH etc. as they don't bash the bikes against rocks etc. Avids are more reliable, unlikely to get oil on your pads when a seal goes etc. requiring new seals and pads. Oh not to mention all the hopes I had rewuired you to really pull the lever like a mofo to get it to 'bite'. My avid still takes just a light pull to make it work...a sure winner
  12. Nice work bonney, liking the look of that I would pesonally like a Mk4 GT TDi. Golfs are nearly as sexy as A3's
  13. I personally think the eylid thing looks nice on Fuse's car. That one aboves nice Pinky, but would look sexier with some skirts, the front and rear look too low compared to the sides.
  14. Mark the Diamondback Fubar is 100% cromo tubing. The geometry is pretty nice I would say (though I'm no hard core bmxer). It may look iffy, but is far from gash. Looks best pegless as i have recently found out. Forks are cromo, bars are awsome, crranks are awsome, rear break is awsome, seat is sexy (IMO!!) etc. Those SUN rims are diseased though, unless you never go out in the wet they flake after a while, still work ok though Review from RIDE BMX mag.... "Odyssey parts from their excellent 41Thermal range - this is also the first time 41Thermal parts have appeared on a bike - so this bike is dialled from the outset. It’s another case of the sum of the parts being greater than the whole: you get Odyssey’s superb cranks, 41Thermal bars, brakes, Sun rims, Maxxis tyres, all on a full cromoly frame and forks and Diamondback’s other components. It rides great for trails and street, it’s nice and long, well balanced... and all for less than £400. This bike is another flat out bargain." Its more than worth the money I recon...
  15. No shit. Its more likely to be like 95% I recon. Also is it 80% of the forum that rides at the moment, or jsut 80% of the forum. As I know there are a number of people on here who don't ride already, so odd's of them riding in 10 years time is slim to none. It's nice to see so many people with big plans too, though many of you want to be in the creative indusries, where its super hard to get a decent job. I will be 33 in ten years time. With any luck I will be married, with kids, with a job that pays well enough to be comfortable. Perhaps a senior position within a technical support department (for manf. industry) would do.

    New Site

works fine for me (1280*1024) If any thing the pictures could be a little bigger so more detail can be seen... Clean site imo though, the whole click and you get the next picture is fine with me.
  17. I think we all thought they were crap because they were 'cable' lol Adam was the one who started the trend, but obviously he wasn't the first to use them on a trails bike, as he got the idea from feeling someone elses!!
  18. Nice vid, nice an chilled. out of interest where is that skate park?
  19. We do kinda own England, as in the people who live here own it, not as an individual but as a whole. therfore the people as a whole through the government they elected democratically should be able to decide who lives here etc. The fact they work here or claim benifits here isn't the issue here Tom, its the fact that a number of them clearly do rside within the UK yet at the same time dispise everything aboutthe country and the people who live here. To come here for wahtever reason only to slate it is hypocrytical.. Of course Religion has nothing to do with it, its only every an excuse etc. Just looks at the crusades etc. what a load of crap that was.
  20. This would be the sorta thing which might well do the job well, I know several people including my self who have used/use this make. the subs are generally very good bass etc. good value really too no point in surround, odds of setting it up with speaker cables all over the place is low really, as it looks gash etc. 2.1 is good enough
  21. I'm more bothered about the people in the UK (Muslims) who were outraged at the images (from the Danish! paper) who were protesting with banners which incite murder and violence!!! Thats far far more wrong than a silly picture of their beloved one. They are in our country (through choice, perhaps to claim benifits etc.) yet they want to decapitate us etc.? We should actually put these people in jail, (actually just arrest them and deport them as its cheaper), as thats beyond freedom of speech, I would say so anyway! e.g "On Friday, some British Muslims vented their anger, with some shouting: "UK you must pray, 7/7 is on its way." Other slogans included "massacre those who insult Islam" and "Europe, your 9/11 will come" How can they expect people to respect thier religion when a minority of them have such a radical and extremist point of view about us 'Westerners'. Its daft, a Danish paper prints a comical picture/piss take , so they start protest burning flags and chanting about murdering us... theres a gulf of a difference!
  22. I suggest that you pay the fine then.... £30 isn't a massive amount. Its the law that you have lights, the fact trials bikes are not ideal for them means sweet fa. There is always a way of attaching lights to a bike will work etc. I jsut don't like this whole were the victims stylee attitude. We all know the law! etc.etc.etc.etc.
  23. However a PS3 will be designed for playing games etc. so might well be significatnly better at it. Will cost like 1/4 of the price of said top spec PC too. Of course e haven't actually used a PS3 yet have we so how are we to say?? Silly argument

    Universitys

Thats well harsh, because you live in wales you have to pay more to go to an english uni Mega bad, didn't realise that was the case As for Luff, it is a damn good Uni and I wouldn't have thought you would regret going there http://www.lboro.ac.uk/prospectus/achievements/nss.html
  25. Will I ever need to say more!
