  1. Word. In fact riding on pretty muh anything is rude really. Unless you own it or its designed for that purpose its a bit rude. Disrespecting people who have passed away is just worse still.
  2. I think the bash guard idea is quite good, it makes sence to me, and i can see how it will work. Grip should be improved massively.... as for side inpacts, those plates look beefy, people should learn to ride thier bikes properly and not tank into things so badly anyway. Stock bikes manage with thier whole underside exposed.... and no shock absorption, so that design should be an improvement.
  3. Pretty smal one this year. but having a double bed is nice (N) you have to imagine the left side goes parralel with the wall on the right.....
  4. He might have ment 'ass' as in dick head etc. not as in your bottom. He might understand better if you jsut tell him iti a pussy
  5. DDG Shooter, snapped in three months
  6. Driving without insurance is highly irrisponsible, you deserve a ban to be honest. If you had rolled, hit someone and paralysed them for life, you would have had no way to copensate them for the loss of thier ability to move.... etc.etc. Maybe if you had not decided 'to go for a little drive' after you dropped the girl off you would have been ok. I expect you could loose your licence, you would have been ok if you had no licence you know, would have just got a fine :) stupid law system..
  7. whats this 'passing over/across' the rim bollox. I'm pretty sure you just move round the rim in a constant motion. No left to right movement of any consequence is needed!! in theory too fast spining disc and it will cut more efficiently, the slower it goes the more it will 'tear' at the rim, creating harsher/rougher surface. Don't move round the rim to fast though! thats my thoughts on it anyway.
  8. Trials looks pointless to randoms as they can't see the point in trying to get up/over across summit over and over again... We have random bikes with no seats, loud brakes wide bars etc.etc. It makes us stick out like a sore thumb... A bmxer will be able to flow down the high street and people will reconise what he/she is doing, accosiate it with x games etc. and think its cool (or at least normal). This is why they don't get slated so much. I gave up trials due to a lack of time available for the sport, the realisation that I was infact getting old, things were becoming dangerous (no longer fun just hopping up curbs etc. lmao) and its just pointless, doing the same things over and over on rides is dull, getting onto a wall/roof just to drop gap to a rail is rather pointless...going for that one cm higher up etc... This stuff about CLOTHES!!! "Cloths" is rather daft though, of course I did wear random shorts with shinpads when riding trials (must have looked fooking stupid), but not everyone does that, most people just wear what they do on and off a bike... I dunno, bmx is cooler though......
  9. The other posts are on about Federal 9 1/2 days DVD are they not???
  10. Practically anything will work in a Toasie Tomm!!! Wensledale might well be good too. Our house has had loads of variations on the best snack 'Toasties' : -Chilli flakes, Tomato sauce, Cheese (any), ham and or chicken (wafer thin shredded, so as not to come out in one hot lump when you bite :)) - eggs (make sure you cook long enough) tastes good though - Bannana alone, I suspect apples and sugar would make a variation on the things you get from McD's -Bourbons - be sure to use lots of butter or it will be to dry - Beans + cheese (don't burn yourself :P ) Anything goes,
  11. LOL the fact that you might well give up one day.... I don't need tatoos to mark points in my life, I have a memory that works just fine :P I really don't se the need for them, some of them are really impressive pieces of art, but to have one on your body perminately??? eh? why? A bit like smoking..... its not 'really' cool, you will regret it later in life.. waste of money... These are of course only my opinions, I have nothing against people with Tattoos, just really really don't see why people want them so bad.
  12. this is a better way of doing it, works best witha locked out mech.
  13. erm I wouldn't suggest any of those would bea good idea, as they will all land you in jail... with no get out free card..
  14. Most foriegn doctors that work for the NHS seem to be Asian, mainly Indian or Pakistane' (spelling?) I do belive they are not Arabic at all?? The real point here is that these people that come over to work here as doctors etc.etc. will be doing so on a Visa or whatever that has been granted to them so they can do a job here and help the country as a whole. I 'think' Mr Monkey might be refering more to the people who are let in as illigal imergrants but get let off and not deported, or asylem seekers that don't have real reasons to ask to live here....... I dunno, I have to say Mark is baltently right about the reason for the ethnic groups in the majority on that list... Its simply becasue the people who have lived here forever will be known to the local constabulary and picked up really really easy..
  15. WORD I also recall my maggie freezing up the last time I rode in cold weather (year before last) had to walk the bike home also, did no harm at all other than stopping me riding. most likely for the best as it was too cold for mucking about outside anyway!!
  16. erm no, it matter not where your doing it, the weight is the wieght. We already established the reason free weights are harder is because of the stabilising muscles which are needed. the machine weights are the same but easier due to the controlled movements due to the single pivot points, not because the weights are halved or whatever....
  17. Would be pretty easy to get it out of the frame really.... I recons that if you clamped the bb cup in a vice and then twisted the frame from the headtube (lots of leverage) you would be able to free it, as the two part epoxy adhesive is probably pretty poor when large shering forces are applied to it... But yeh, why not bodge an old knackered frame for a little bit of a life extention..
  18. Are you guys all really short, as sub 70Kg body weight is pretty light, isn't it? Triceps are where its at for lots of things, not only this they also make your upper arm look proportioned properly. I would have said benching is about triceps after the initial raise, the bit where you push out is all triceps.... This is just going on what I remeber feeling weak when i do them etc. hmmm
  19. Can get one cheap by buying mine for £180 (or somewhere close to that figure, inc post) built onto a suitable rim already.... Trials set up straight from factory... HD axel, Fun bolts, Steel shell... http://www.trials-forum.co.uk/forum/index....showtopic=65758 Seeing as they are £240 new from aspire... thats assuming you don't get done for some import tax too, plus rim, spokes and build...
  20. 1.2 Merit Nova Awsome for a first car..seriously..... Won't find many these days though that aren't dead...
  21. Its gotta help for actual fitness though surely? weight training won't help you run around for 90 miutes or wahtever.. Although I have lost interest in those kinda machines, don't have the time for it these days. got to remember that muscle burns calories, so the more weight training you do the more calories you burn, therefore in theory you are right, you could loose a belly just buy having big muscles (and eating correctly). And i think spinning rooms are something totally different to excersise bike btw Michael. And 57rpm may be what it tells you to aim for 'terror error' but I can assure you thats is real rslow whatever level you got it on. 100+ rpm is more like it for serious training....Like treadmills are all about running at at least 13.5/14Kph etc... none of this pussy shit :turned: I only do rowing machines now, as they are proper punishing... more than 1500m is hard work on hard settings, though at 30 strokes a minute it would be...
  22. LOL i assume hes talking about the MUSCLE on top of his elbow joint, no idea what its called or owt, but its on everyone. I have them both sides, one side bigger than the other, but it would be as most people use one arm more than the other. The fact it gets bigger and harder when you tense up in a particular direction should make it pretty clear its muscle. Not gonna kill you!! Pro level paint shop scetch to show said loction of bluge.... odds on you only feel it when your arms at 90° + yeh?
  23. Just to clear something up for you guys that are all talking about this free weights/machines. Mr Monkey is almost right when he said you should be able to do the same on both if your technique was perfect. Of course that isn't the reality. MY ACTUAL POINT: The leverage ratios etc. will all be there to make the wieghts you see going up and down heaver. If it says 35Kgs on it thats what your arms are lifting, in terms of effort etc. (however the metal thats going up and down is clearly less than that though, think about it, Do you really think that lat pull down machines etc. actually have 150Kgs of weights on em? I dont. Look at the size of a 30Kg dumbel, then look at the size of the wieghts that go up and down on machines, clearly different.) The reason you can't do the same on both is...... because lifting free weights does of course require all the muscles in your body to work togeather. Stabilising muscles help to make movements more controlled and easier, untill these are strong enough your gonna struggle with big wieghts etc. As for being able to bench 60kg 30 reps, why on earth isn't that possible? I don't know the kid, but there was a time last year aafter about 18 months of gymmin where I was doing that kinda weight 50 reps. (unfortuantely I skipped gym for 12months and can only do like 40kgs now (Y) )
  24. Interesting I have different things to the above one as well. Could be a service pack issue. I have SP 2 and all updates. Only a real home edition though.
