  1. some really cool pics there, good stuff to ride, nice looking weather, cool atmosphere and nice environment! some different looking bikes there with some frames and parts i haven't seen before.
  2. the likelyness of me getting my bike built up is very low seeing as some of the parts i need still haven arrived, so... don't think i will make it unless you where to perspone the ride until next week when hopefully both me and ben geary can come
  3. looks beasty whats the geo? how does it ride
  4. werd... i have fatties, good forks, stripped down and my they do polish up nice always seem to look bent though... like swooping out bent, oh well, i like them , theres just something about them which seems reasuring
  5. i was just about to start a topic about isis bb's and all ... or even ring tarty bikes and ask them because they rule ... wondering if anyone was had the same problem as me, iv snapped/bent 3 square taper bb's and the tapers on my cranks have become really loose (i know this may be my fault but oh well... shit happens)... i'm now looking for new isis cranks and a new isis bb (well when i say new i mean new to me... maybe, if they wern't all so expensive) my money is limited as i still need a new frame, chain and stem so i would need to find some reasonably priced cranks and a cheapish bb, but they just don't seem to exist, buying cranks off tart would mean also buying a new bash (more money) and then having to buy a new bb aswell. worked out if i buy the echo cranks 6061 cranks (which i have heard are weak?) and the echo bash i have already worked up a hefty £72 before i have even looked at bottom brackets, and then finding a bb to fit ffw costs another 43, so thats £115? for just a set of cranks and a bb are there any other options, i have already set up a topic in the for sale/wanted asking if anyone has any of the parts i need but i think im gonna have to end up buying new.

  7. hey man, welcome the forum, im from the east midlands, leicester. to be honest i wouldnt bother with your local bike shop, your best buying some decent pads straight away (read the recent pad reviews) as for setting the brake up... have a go yourself, if you never try you'll never learn

    Some Help

alrite mate... i don't really have much experience on a mod... but have ridden stock for a year and a half, sometimes have a go on my freinds mod (monty)... im actually too short for my stock, yet i still find riding it alot easier than my mates monty, taps, gaps, etc are easier, but i cannot get the kick like i can with a mod... what i mean is, when gapping because the bike is longer i cannot kick the back end out too get further in gaps, this would be different on a mod or on a shorter bike.... sidehops are harder on a stock "apparently" although again i find it easier on a stock, i know your a beast at sidehops anyways so shouldnt matter pretty much like everything else, it just takes getting used to, imo you will suit a stock better as i memba you bein fairly tall anyways i dunno if i have helped... probably haven't Good luck with the change, btw whats stock are you looking at?
  22. any more help would be greatly apreciated
