  1. Had an awesome day! Nice to meet a few new people, and get some riding done. Until my pinch towards the end! That sucked. Some seriously good riding went down by all! I'll try and get the few pictures I took up soon.
  2. Just about to go to bed now. Then off to Pompey in the morning for the DJ ride!
  3. "biker" http://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=biker&aq=f
  4. Retailers don't just make up the prices as they go along, they don't get it all for free and make pure profit on everything. They buy the products in for 'X' amount, and have to sell them at 'Y' amount to make a decent profit percentage. A booster would have a lot more machine work gone into it in production. Seeing as it's designed to take stress off of your frame, a decent booster (Heatsink ones, for example) go through stress analysis, to see how effective it is.
  5. Wouldn't it be easier to just buy a new sprocket? They're not that expensive, and saves a lot of messing about!
  6. I hate riding in the rain, it's just irritating. Riding in the wet is alright though, more of a challenge!
  7. I had a rear V on mine once, was alright until I got a new tyre and the cable went through the tread! Bike looks nice though! Needs some colour
  8. I think they're unsealed hubs. In which case, take it off the bike, loosen the nuts on the ends on each side, then tighten the ones after them by hand. They don't need to be silly-tight, just tight enough so the axle can move without any play. Once you've done that, get a thin spanner (Argos bikes etc come with a shitty tool kit, which has ones the right size ) and hold the cone whilst you tighten the nut up to it to lock it in place. You might find yourself doing this quite often, I did and had no idea how they were coming loose when the wheel was always tight in the frame! I bought a sealed hub in the end.
  9. Yeah, £80 when I finally pay Tris! It rides so nice! Doesn't feel that much shorter than the Zona, but the WB is around 1010mm. It's a fair bit lighter too. As far as buying one new goes, I don't have a clue! I'd never even seen one before this one...
  10. Felt like a change of frames from the Zona Zip, seeing as I've had that for around 3 years I think? Tris (onzatrip) had this frame sat doing nothing, and sorted me out an awesome deal! So anyway...
  11. You're this mad at her now, and you're not even with her! Not a good sign. Here's a headf**k I'm currently going through... We both broke up a few weeks ago, then on Saturday she comes up to me, hugs me and says 'I love youu will you take me back?' I said yes. Today I get a text from her saying she needed to talk to me. Not thinking it was anything bad, I just told her to tell me there and then, wish I didn't now. She said she couldn't be with me, cos she has feelings for someone else. Ouch. I knew when we'd broke up she said she had a 'soft spot' for him, but I thought it was like a rebound kinda thing... Ughh.. it really sucks. We were well happy the other night at hers when we were just chilling with her family... It was all for nothing. :\ 'Man up.'

    Shoes

    1. What shoes do you wear when riding? Nike 6.0 Mid tops. 2. How long would you say they last? Very well so far! 3. Whats the ankle support like/is there any? Bit of support as they're mid tops. 4. Soles: grippy or not that grippy? Very grippy. The pedal pins have worn their way through, so my feet are always sat in the same place.
  13. You northerners are really springy.
  14. I try a few brakeless lines from time to time. It's fun! Scary though... I can brakeless sidehop from the backwheel, which took me ages to actually get the balls to try. It feels weird, but fun.
  15. Literally all you can do is practice.
  16. '04 Magura with a Fresh Products lever blade. Lovely stuff.
  17. Taking my iPhone in tomorrow for them to look at. It keeps losing signal! I can have it sat next to another phone on the same network, that'd have full, mine will have nothing. Bloody thing!
