  1. If spacing it out doesn't work (didn't work when I had this problem) then remove the screw that rests on the bottom of the mech hanger. This will make the tensioner rest on the chainstay giving more chain wrap around the cog.
  2. This topic was only supposed to be a reminder for him! Seems to have gone a bit west.
  3. Fair enough. I will close the topic when the PS2 arrives.
  4. Over a week ago I sent him some money for a PS2 he is selling, I made sure it was sent recorded delivery and that he received it OK. He said the week before bank holiday Monday that the item was packaged and ready to be posted, I assumed because of bank holiday fever the post was delayed so I let it rest a day or two. I asked him again on Wednesday and he said he would post it so I received it before today and he also said that some parts were at his dad's house-whereas before he said it was packed and ready to go. I still haven't received the goods or had any contact from him and I'm a bit concerned as he is now impossible to contact and I payed him extra for delivery. I'd like to think that I have been patient and didn't really want to make this topic incase there is a valid reason but as he hasn't contacted me I feel it is my only option. Could anyone that knows him explain why he has been absent minded of late? He has been on the forum recently so he must have seen my P.M. s . What should I do, his references seem fine but I'm having troubles. Seems to have blocked me on msn too. My references- http://www.trials-forum.co.uk/forum/index....576&hl=huge
  5. I think wrapping a few runs of electrical tape around the cylinder then putting the plastic washers on over the tape should sort it.

    How's Yours

I've got this brake and exactly the same worry. Quite a lot of movement of the calliper body when I pull the lever. I think its because there is not all that much meat between the two sides of the calliper.
  7. GT Avalanche 3 gets my vote. Excellent frame and decent components for the money. http://www.sunsetmtb.co.uk/shop/index.php?...;category_id=10
  8. http://www.ecotekplc.com/cb-26p.htm I'm quite tempted to fit one of these to a Ford Ka with an Endura-E engine as I have heard rumours that these valves can actually increase mpg statistics and I do mostly motorway travelling. Has anyone on here had any experiences with them? Are they worth getting? Many thankyous.
  9. Never been in to team sports. And I am rubbish at X.C....
  10. Was he trying to suggest that the pavement was private property?
  11. Best video I've watched in ages. Looked like everyone was having fun just riding their bikes, rather than seeing who can tap/gap/hop the furthest. Good job.
  12. That scale is reading 24lbs im afraid, look at where the red and black lines line up (like reading a vernier calliper scale) closer to 11 kilos you will find
  13. I hope to be there. Had some navigational issues last time though...
  14. To face your mounts you could use http://www.hopetech.com/products/tool_02.htm ,your local bike shop might have one. I think chain reaction cycles sell them for around £70 if not. But the avid doesn't need perfectly square mounts as the system of washers on the calliper mount will ensure the pads hit square. I'd get the avid-no bleeding, simpler set up, cheaper, no need to face your mounts and more reliable in my experience.
  15. Spark plug socket-or as large a diameter socket as you can fit throught the headtube. Attatch to a fairly long extension bar and tap away working round the cup. once one cup is removed, rinse and repeat for the other one. Don't use your favourite socket though
  16. Fascia/leads etc very reasonable price-fascia alone is usually £20 http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Ford-Focus-Mondeo-Co...1QQcmdZViewItem possible stereo £80 mp3/cd/sd card http://www.motor-world.co.uk/show_prod.php?prod_id=12338
  17. I'm afraid i'm out ill defo come for the next ride there...promise
  18. I think you should leave it black. also gives you more time for riding it
  19. Very good bike you have there. Change the forks to some alloy ones, it`ll make a world of difference.
  20. I shall be there. Can give one lucky mod owner living between rhyl and bangor a lift by the way..... Huw
