I believe the Kaiser chiefs have been predicting this for a while now... Although these chavs are intimidating, scary, and wreaking havoc amongst the country, let us not forget they are still pathetic, simple and hilariously un-intelligent little apes: http://www.escapistmagazine.com/forums/read/7.305798-Surprise-Authorities-Investigating-Looters-Swag-Pictures-On-Facebook

Also another thought (but probably wouldnt work) is if all those prosecuted were given community service to clear up the mess they made!

In all seriousness mate just post on here when you get back so we know you made it! EDIT: Also Strathclyde Police say they have charged a 16-year-old boy with breaching the peace in relation to a message posted on Facebook, which allegedly incited people to commit acts of disorder. The teenager was arrested in Glasgow at lunchtime and is due to appear in court tomorrow EDIT2: misunderstood that. Thought it was a guy on facebook telling people to kill rioters or similar lol...

Watched 'Unknown' with Liam Neeson. Really annoyed me! spoiler: Also watched source code which I liked quite a bit. Not sure on the ending though... but I was in a bad mood from Unknown really!

OK thanks! to be honest I don't mind waiting if he can sort it out and get it posted to me still (if thats possible?) Im anticipating the seller to ignore my E-mail telling him his blunder and have to open a dispute anyway, but if he apolgises and gets to work then Im cool with that... But its good to know I can get my money back at worst case....

You mean short? At the moment Ive got to ease my arm back into climbing, so putting on the little crimps isn't going to do me any good. Eventually, the idea is the wall will be ovehanging (so the holds are on the other side) and they'll be covered with crimps. From a sit start, im hoping to make problems that will make it hard to get off the floor, and even then they'll probably traverse a bit, then up, then down etc etc.

OK so this may be just me... I bought a phone off Ebay about 2 weeks ago. Paypalled straight away and set the delivery address on paypal reciept to North wales (where I am now). Waited for ages and ages, so I asked him where is it, he said he sent it. I check ebay and it said it was due on the 27th (no idea how they worked it out, but I decided to be paitient). While I was there I double checked Id sent him the right postal address on the order + on the confirmation E-mail, they WERE right. Get an E-mail from him last night saying he posted them to the Isle-of-Wight where I used to live. Now thats no f*cking good to me as Im not going back there. He has managed to ignore the two postal address that were E-mailed to him and decide to go onto my profile which I haven't updated yet, and use the primary address there. I mean im sure lots of people in uni know that you have a primary address set up to one place(say with the parents for non-term-time) but another for when you're at another place (such as during term-time). So my new phone is either in the hands of the new occupancy of my old flat or stuck in the royal mail depot in Ryde as there is no-one living there. Either way, what do I do? Anyone been here before? thanks.

Put all of what Ive got together and finished off drilling the first board. Also drilled off the middle board to suit the attachment holes and realised I have another problem.... Currently in slab mode: The frame is flexing quite a bit due to the weight of the wood. My aim is to get another piece of tube to brace lower down (mid-point). If thats not good enough, Ill have to get MORE articulated clamps and do a double brace using the one shown as-well. But it does work

Ahh what mat have you gone for? Arms still not right but its definitly getting stronger. I did some bouldering the other day (2 V0+'s yo!) and it didnt hurt then. Im just very wary of highball stuff atm which is doing my mind no favours!

Another update. Route setting a bit limited at the moment.... I finally found an 11mm drill bit so I started gluing and pressing the T-nuts in tonight, more to resume tomorrow... BTW if anyone can get hold of some steel pipe can they get in touch? I need about 2 foot of around 33.7mm OD x 1.7mm (will get more accurate measurements if someone replies) for me to use as shims. Thanks...

Doesn't work on my PC either. Looks like a photobucket thing, like a maximum file size breached? or a maximum number of uploaded files? I don't know, I don't use photobucket to EMBED files

Seriously wtf. Kyle was a pretty good rider when I saw him in Brum a while ago. Now with that bike + a few more years hes a mini monster! So smooth! Good effort capturing the wild beast in his habitat Nick...

Another Bump, we have progress. I need to cut a slot out of this board to allow the vertical supports to fit through, and I also found out the plywood needs supporting/fixing in the centres of the longest sides as they're a bit flexy. This top picture is of the wall on it's side. I bought the plywood in 3 sections so that they fit in the boot of most estate cars quite easily. I need to brace across the centres with 2 extra poles for a bit more rigidity. Possibly overkill, but meh, it wont fall atleast.

With that method, you don't need the threads. The bolt goes into the flywheel pull and acts as the head to push against the BB, while the 3 legs attach to the crank. As you wind the handle down it works like a crank extractor normally would. Back to the video, I really wanted him to miss the crank and smash his nuts...

I think chris4stars has it. Can't fault the steps and logic seems right. Although 9.81% seems a little too high a number for the 'OMGZ' effect I think JT is after....

I don't think Archmides' screw was intended for domestic use As I'd be rich, and bored (won't be working) Ill have a lot of time on my hands. So Id either design and make my own car (from scratch) or build my own: From chassis up
