  1. http://scaleofuniverse.com/ Has been updated to Mark 2. Note: Minecraft world is bigger than earth
  2. Going to say yes. £1million would be enough for me to travel and climb all over the world. Its 5 (or more) years of happiness against 5 years of contentness, and at the price of another 5 years of contentness then its a price worth paying! If this 5 years of happiness was going to COST me 5 years of happiness, then no I wouldnt.... If that makes sense to you, you're a genius.
  3. Don't know if this has been posted already or not. My god its good. Its regarding the shooting in the school in America recently, and the guy being interviewed is saying about how arming teachers is a good thing. The presenter goes ape shit! Its good because hes saying exactly what you're thinking to him. http://youtu.be/avOV6_42xe4 Very long but worth it
  4. have you got a friemd with one so you can try thier battery? Obviously if it works with a different battery then its only the battery thats fooked. In any case you can probably send it away to be repaired..

  6. Lets hear them then.... only one Ive seen is "Well atleast we're all still here, thats the mayan thing."
  7. So many people on facebook think the mayans are dead, fighting so hard not to troll... Atleast I know the intelligence level of some of my facebook friends...
  8. To those replying about motox riding, I heard a rumour/folklore about professional moto cross riders have some surgery done that removes protective tubes around their tendons to allow more response and reduce arm pump? Is this a myth or is it true?

  10. I usually ignore it when somebody posts a track in here, but I found this Scottish track quite tranquil but upbeat too http://youtu.be/Mehjg7k6qxI Recommend: a slideshow of snowy mountains in good weather with this playing in the background...
  11. I like the track pump method personally. Waynio showed me and it blew my mind... Put the track pump end inside the grip at one end, create a seal with your hand over the other end (hand around the bar and grip) and pump and slide! Obviously, the air expands the grip slightly enough for you to move the grip along the bar. I like that zip tie method though, nice idea
  12. cool story bro. Missing a link?
  13. 'We need to talk' Thought the caveman.
  14. This may also help by giving you an alternative side to the arm pump story. Arm pump is one of the largest causes for climbers to fall off routes. In the climbing world there are two types of physical variations of succesful climber; a power house and a less built climber. Stereotypically what this means is that the well built muscular climber is able to deliver high performance strength but only do so for a short period of time before they become pumped. Because the body is using more muscle mass, lactic acid builds up at a quicker rate. Conversely the less built climber can deliver lower levels of performance but for a lot longer period of time. Being able to do both is very hard but it can be done! In summary. Try to either use less muscle in your arm, or dont tighten up as much as possible when needed. This reduction in workload should help fight the lactic acid build up
  15. I like that, because it's funny but I can't tell if its harsh or not

    Mango Bikes

Couple of lads from Swansea Uni have set up this company to design and build completely custom bikes. When I say custom, I mean custom colours. Im not promoting the company at all as I hate this style of bike, I was just wondering what others think: http://www.mangobikes.co.uk/bike-builder/ Particularly the rims as Ive heard alot of bitching about them....
  18. Pretty sure these are impossible to pass Ive done two so far and they're utter bollocks. The idea is they 'create a character profile of you to see if you'd fit into the business'. With the first one I answered the questions like a hard working goody two shoes swot. I failed. So the second time I tried the hot headed boisterous manager type. I failed. Don't mind the concept so much but what really annoyed me was at the start they said 'there is no right or wrong answer'. if thats true, how can I fail?! Anyway, the best jobs are those that rely on interviewing you in person to find out who you are, not this online bollocks, so don't be dis-heartened. Im in engineering too and will be expected to do these but I'll be approaching companies in person instead...
  19. My Jimmy Saville advent calendar is crap. The flaps only open from 1-16
