  1. yeah thts the one. but its too long because i managed to build it successfully before 175mm spokes. im now using 165
  2. hmm im tightented the proud nipples and the spoke thread is already at the top of the nipple
  3. OK I've got some new spokes + nipples and im building my wheel. As far as I know I've built it fine (4 cross pattern) only now that I've come to true it it looks like the picture below (only obviously round, not a straight rim Basically every 2 nipples are proud of the rim, while the following 2 are "normal" Im lacing up a tryall rim with a profile hub. Help please, should I take it apart and start again or try to true it anyway? Thanks
  4. I know what you mean I think. The jagged line (on the white bit) is where he wants a rider doing a gap (for example) and elsewhere he wants another doing a fakie nose wheelie etc I think thats what you mean?
  5. the closest ive come to that is in a swing >_< Perfection mike. 10/10!
  6. Fixed front. no question. Fixed rear too if poss :(
  7. Sorry but imo this isn't likely to work. People get told to move on because they are a hazard to pedsetrians. I guarantee that you're weren't being a hazard, but they still dont't see it that way. I got moved on for sitting down and eating a sandwich on my bike (Y) The only thing you can do is use the petition to gain a trials park like someone did a while ago (btw any news on that?) Just my opinion, may not be true
  8. I had this problem too with my profile. Yeah as the guys above say just gently persuade it into position away from the flange
  9. Hmmm i cant find the normal one either but Alans bmxdo it £3 cheaper (postage probably not included in that one) Albes Try here too EDIT: Albes do them, Which bit do you need? cos if you've got the 4 pawls + 4 springs you dont have to fork out the $40 for them
  10. Canberratrials 12 = The herd - states of transit If you somehow find that Email it to me please :D thanks
  11. Made me laugh the most so far "Bumhats"
  12. GOAT!!!!! hehe they so funny. I want one just so i can poke it with sticks
  13. lol so you'd think that no one would specifically search for "Drugs on toast" in quotation marks Think again
  14. Somehow I knew I wasn't going to win this one My fight But then I drank some red bull and... Round 2 Thats cool. great find mate :D
  15. ;) :D oh my god watching that.... He's about to do an insane wheelswap up a rock, and then he switches feet!!! WOW!! I usually dont like stock videos, but ive always made an exception for vincent and andy, that was dvd material mate. Everything was perfect (except my pc which kept crashing and thus ive not managed to watch the video from start to finish yet) The angles were good cos it made things look simple, and then when vincent does it you realise how large it is.... unless he magically shrinks :P Worth the wait :P
  16. Same as above. Eegoindidee is no where near as good as TS and im reluctant to use it ;) Thank you very much for the service though
  17. What front hub do I want boys and girls? I've got a monty X-lite mod and im after a disc on the front Cheers
  18. Says it all. Ive not watched it yet and the chances of my pc downloading it are quite small :( :D
  19. You have a good point will :D I think the same too but im not clever enough to do anything about it the sand thing sounds good. Just make sure water + sand dont get on your spokes though ;)

    Grip Sweat

ha-har :P Although really I agree too I sweat like a fat sweaty man having sex on a hot day :) and I ecnounter this problem too. Mind you I'm using the brisa/koxx rubber grips which have now become slick
  22. pish to back brakes take it off! :P I found my back brake was awful when I set it up on my monty. It was a combintaion of two things which solved it a) The pads weren't hitting at the same time :( I put tar on the "wrong" side. For some reason (I swear my bike has a personality) my brake has more power over the right hand side than the left (or vice versa, cant remember/dont care) so i needed tar on the other side to make both sides good :)

Like a sudden surge in riders, then a halt for a bit. Then "a new crop" grows :)

IMO i think it is because in North wales theres 2 "older" generation rider, about 5 in my generation and at least 8? in the up and coming generation of trials riders
