XFX 780i sli mobo Intel E8600 @ 4.1ghz 2 x BFG 280 GTX 4GB Corsair DDR2 XMS2 dominator PC2- 8500 samsung HD103UJ some xclio case with a huge modular psu (can't remember what it is) Getting ready to uprgrade the mobo, cpu and ram when the i7 stuff drops in price a bit. case is one of these, took ouy the gay lights and had to cut some holes to add a few exhaust fans. Looks really shit but is ok cooling-wise.

To stop such a belt from slipping on the smaller sprockets trials requires the tension would have to be really quite high, putting extra stress into the bearings making them fail quicker. May also significantly increase the drag in the system potentially leeching power from your moves making the kick less explosive. That is even if they could take the loads of trials.

If the wheel has moved in the dropouts at all it will be that the rotor is on the piss relative to the pads making it shit.

The dell precision range is deffinately worth looking into although from what I remember they may be a bit too pricey for what you are after. Getting a quadro fx card with the laptop will increase the price loads but they really are needed. The only other way really would be to get a gaming type laptop which wouldn't be ideal but can still perform ok-ish.

Had a play on an all mountain bike with a set of these on recently and the shifting was great, not too sure on use with trials although it would be awsome if it doesn't die immedietly.
