I don't think he was implying you overcharge, I think he was unsure how much you would charge and is hoping you don't charge too much as he wants to donate. I don't normally stick up for him, but I do think you took it the wrong way.
I really don't think that's true.
It's all down to preference I think - for example I can barely even ride in a straight line on a mod. Granted I'm no Ryan Leech on any bike but I certainly find 24 / 26 easier.
To be honest I forgot it was 24 & 26 with APS, I just remembered it being a 24 frame. I'd quite like something like that again actually, so I can run gears.
Yup as they said, there's no real rule.
I personally can't ride mod bikes (20"), they just feel too small. That's probably because I'm used to riding proper mountain bikes & 24" dirt bikes. But then a lot of people over 6 foot ride mods no problem at all...
Best way is to come to a group ride in your area and try all sizes out and see what you like.
I used to have the dream about 5 years ago, annoying as hell because as Tomm said back in March you wake up believing you've nailed the technique and then over breakfast it sinks in that you're actually back to square 1 with no chance of manualling haha.
I'd love to be able to manual.
I think he's looking for damaged ones, rather than the ones you use
I would have thought they'd all damage in the same way though, the pedal would gradually wear away the sole in a pedal shape - at least that's how all my old shoes / pedals have ended up.
I think that must be why I like it so much, I've been a Scruff fan for years
I saw Mr Scruff at Concorde 2, he's a great DJ - the music he plays is very different to the music he produces though.
