Perfect forum to sign up to then my friend, what with most of us being into bikes with no seats and based mostly in the UK. But if you change your mind, I'm sure I can find some half decent spots in Bristol, UK.

Sitting pretty in the snow... mustered enough power to get the lights up, but nowt else. I have an alternator to fit, but f**k that in this weather. I also have paint to sort the door with, but again, f**k that in this weather.

How tall are you?? Most karts have adjustable seats now as well as the flip over pedals. I'm 6ft2 and fit comfortably, with space to spare.
-
I'll drive it for you, if you like...

1. Tom Booth- '64 Fairlane 2. Rainbird - LCR of some sort 3. Daniel cox - turbo clio or none turbo clio 4. Robin - Probably the slowest e36. Maybe... but almost certainly not a 924. 5. Mike - Eunos Roadster (If it survives Bedford Autodrome, trip to Bruges and Rockingham weekender)

Solid engines, the 1.7sdi.

That's almost as good as the video a couple of posts up! Worth a repost to be fair, it's awesome.

He's not the internet type, nor the take photos type, so no build thread unfortunately. I think it took him about a year to build in his garage. I can find out more info, but from what I saw when he got the kit, it's a bare metal frame that he painted black and the panels he had to make himself from sheet. I believe it comes with instructions / templates, but the body is made from just sheet metal. It uses a 2CV engine, 2CV clocks and steering wheel. In terms of suspension, I'm not sure, but I think that may be 2CV also. Couple more bonus pics as you're interested: I can find out the name of the kit if you're looking to build one or just want to read up on it...?

Looks really GUD, that I still love the Leons, that blue one I had was awesome, other than being 90bhp. In hindsight, I should have sold that and gone straight to the Eunos, bypassing the black money pit I bought instead. Especially when I think what kind of 5 I could have bought for that £2k. Ah well, it's all good.

Nikon D3200 seems to tick the newbie boxes, it's a bit newer and can be picked up pretty cheap these days.
-
Some proper car-porno in Brizzle this morning: And one of my friends has just finished building this, using a 2CV engine

If you're planning on doing video, you'll probably need a lot of batteries. My D750 eats batteries very quick in video mode. I don't often film, but I did some clips of drifting at Castle Combe and was surprised how quickly they drained.

8.3mpg, nice! haha I got up to 49.2mpg in Eco Pro and usually around 48.7mpg in Sport, so it's not worth the hassle really.
-
Millions miles from being a truck, but I feel your pain in my 120d Sport. Sometimes I put it in Eco Pro just to try and get some economy on the motorway and it's fine for that, but as soon as you go up a slip road and pull away at a roundabout it just feels broken. You have to floor it to get anywhere, which then makes your economy bad... It's not actually that much different to sport mode in terms of fuel economy anyway, so I only use it on long motorway stretches.

I haven't used them personally, but they're a legit company with good reviews on Google, so can't see it being a problem. They're also a camera shop, rather than a we-sell-everything kinda place like Amazon, so you should in theory get better service / advice, should you need it. It was purely me grabbing one of your model numbers and having a quick search... Most of those you listed will probably be much cheaper online. Personally I buy a lot of my cameras as grey imports as you save BIG money, but then after care could be a nightmare - that's a gamble I've always taken and so far haven't come unstuck.
-
I don't do filming, so can't really comment, other than why go to a high street retailer for £599 when you can get one for £459? https://www.hdewcameras.co.uk/canon-eos-750d-kit-18-55-stm-3224-p.asp Just picking on the 750d as an example.

Yeah I haven't been either, since I was about 14/15 - I'm 34 this year. I've never had any problems with my teeth, but I'm starting to notice that a lack of maintenance is showing signs of coming through. Still nothing major, but probably best I go for a check up before things get bad. I'm not ashamed to say that I'm terrified of the dentist, which is the primary reason for not going. I too have looked after them fairly well, so it's been a case of "no pain, no dentist visit" for me.

Not me I hope, I straighten mine in Lightroom... But my monitors are on a dual stand which is slightly on the piss, so possibly not perfect...

We went to home of TF's founder this weekend, to celebrate our 7th anniversary. Lovely place! (Tenby, for those who don't know)

Yeah, it was £5 a month extra and less hassle just to stick with them. My intermittent connection issues have vanished, so no complaints here. I still reckon it was a line fault so not really anything to do with Plusnet.
-
I'm central Bristol, but live in a block, so the connection is shared. My friend on the outskirts gets about 200mb down. I uploaded a mix earlier and it was done uploading before I'd typed out the description, so I'm more than happy with the connection. Likewise, uploading massive photos to FB is almost instant.
-
If it gets me those speeds, count me in.
-
I did say "at least" double You win by far, some of my friends posted 200mb down, but 819mb is insane. Also, how tf do you have 934 up? Do you live near a financial hub that processes payments or something? That's insane.
-
I'm sure many of you have at least double this, but I've just got fibre for the first time and it's like lightning compared to previous...
