Its just got to be done, WEAR YOUR HELMET!
-
Hey Matt-y, if still having trouble here's my 5p. Let all the air out, lay wheel on floor and try and pinch the tyre and tube so it sits in the middle of the rim, work your way around the wheel holding the tyre in place with your trainers/shoes. Once all/most of the tyre in sitting in the middle, you should have enough slack to remove it just with your fingers, honest! Its not super easy, thought it would never work myself untill I gave it a try! screwdriver + spoons = nasty!

I 've heard about Divx players but I would like to give disks to friends to play on their DVD players also. I will take a deep breath and see if I can't make Nero work. What a horribly complicated video file knowledge biased subject this is! Thank you guys Sucess...you little ripper......thanks a million

I want to take all the moving clips I have stored on my PC and put them on a CD-RW disk to watch on my DVD player. This varies from short bike clips / clips from my phone and camera / movies I have downloaded etc. (avi / dvix / mov file / etc arrhhhh!) Note: I only have a CD burner and CD-RW disks........and a very limited knowledge of video formats etc. I have tried to achieve this using....Sonic / Nero / Alcohol 120% / Imtoo / winpeg / diko....and every time I get probs with conversion / file-recognition / playing problems. So I give in and go looking for the next so called `all-in-one` application. Sonic: basic programme, copies disks and makes music compilations Nero: looks good, just can't get my head round the several applications contained in the product? Alcohol120% : burns but won't recognise converted files Imtoo: converts but won't burn to disk Winpeg/Diko: er` I forget Is video conversion-compression a terribly complicated process that I should just stay away from or is there really a good user friendly programme that can do everything? Hope you can help, but I'm close to giving up!

Whats Your Faviourite Thing About Trials?
Concussion replied to joe parker's topic in Beginners Trials Chat
I like trials cause I don't have to carry half of B & Q around with me! Ex - chessed off - dirt jump / builder! (council flattend my spot last year, sob!) GO trials, screw trails. -

Has Trials Started Taking Over You Life
Concussion replied to montyrider's topic in Beginners Trials Chat
Well......I had to say goodbye to Mary Jane! And we were so much in love. -
I didn't know Ruud van-nistel-whats-his-name, was into trials? Go Horsey!

Greetings Ryan, and welcome to the forum

Got the same advice from tartys, works a treat if you have a bit of patience. "Lay the wheel on the floor, pinch the tyre with your fingers to get it to sit in the middle of the rim (keep from expanding by standing on tyre in two places). You should find there is enough slack to pull the tyre of with your fingers." I honestly didn't think it would work due to how tight the tyre was, but it came off really easy Sod damaging the rim with a screwdriver IMO....this works!

Although I can't fault the grip on both compounds, I find they both wear too fast for my liking, so no biggie here! Maxxis Hansventure 50a/42a all the way.
-
Well......if your on a bike, and they are on foot.....I think I see a way out of this! Step on the gas man!
-
If you have a friend who needs a wake-up call about leaving his bike outside of shops.....follow him and nick it while he's not looking, ride round the block for 5 min, then give him it back! (to stop him freaking out!) Yeah` that sounds harsh, but now he knows better! Don't worry, he's a big boy, he can take it...........cruel to be kind etc!
-
Tell me about it.....once cut an old tyre off with cable cutters.......untill someone told me about this method. Lay the wheel on the floor, pinch the tyre with your fingers to get it to sit in the middle of the rim (keep from expanding by standing on tyre in two places). You should find there is enough slack to pull the tyre of with your fingers. I didn't think it would work, but a bit of patience...came off a treat! I know you sorted it...just don't fancy the spoon/screwdriver method myself.

Badonkadonk! that was sick, glad your ok.

Weird, I was expecting it to slip rarther than have chainsuck! OK, will try. thanks
-
yeah` aircorps, lighter ones? thanks
-
I snapped my chain (shimano HG-50 narrow - on bike when new) and replaced it with a (sram powerlink - first thing LBS gave me) chain. As I'm pedaling, the chain gets stuck in the chainring and jams between the chainstay, ugh! But only when the right crank powers down, just riding? Any idea's? And can I attach a lighter bashguard to my screw-on Tensile cranks, with the chainring being attached to the screw on bash? Oh dear Er`anyways, hope you can help me. thanks

Hey snappel, sos for the hijack, but I have a set of black 24" Atomlab rims I'd like to use V's on. D'you think this could work for them, just a thought?
-
Man, sorry to hear that Jake, hope you get it back dude. If you don't mind me asking, how was it nicked....home/shop etc?
-
I think so hard about a certain `move` that it usually blends into my dreams and does really help actually! ~Weird~ Yeah` that's me!

I used to work in and around the postal service and its really shocking the lack of respect some people have for other peoples property and not just agency staff, never mind the thieving! Bad luck guys.....arn't some companies going to try and compete with Royal Mail soon? They need a kick up the backside imo.

I realized the "will it never skip" question was asking a little much...it's P and R, its gonna happen, sigh! It was a bad day etc. :$ So today, I asked Hope if the pawls/ratchet will be replaced foc if I chip em` within 6 months etc. I worry cause that all I do.... I mean its a pricey trials hub, that’s not asking too much right? I was told by Hope and a few shops, "Only if due to a manufacturing defect" = the parts were structurally imperfect when I received them. I put the phone down in disbelief and phoned again as I've got to sort this out. (it will be Sunny and warm soon) It seems I was `hearing things` and all parts will be replaced foc within the first 12 months...weather you are brutal or not as its a trials hub.......HELLO! "Well that’s all cool but before you and a few shops said................oh`forget it!" Hope...if your gonna change your policy and bring out a trials specific hub at the same time, try and make this info available on your website or have a clear/stick to it answer for customers please! (stubborn block-heads like me!) (I know Wayne un-officially informed us, thanks W....but I won't be sending it back to him) That's all......idiot and out!
-
please....can't take it....face hurting with laughing! man that's some funny shit
-
OK, OK....I will never mention it again.....christ I had half a point though right? Cheers Onzaboymark for the in-depth answer, forgive the stubbiness of my posts...I ain't that bad, just trying to be clear. (text sucks) Thanks for slipping with me! bye, gone, delete post and call me moaner!
