Thanks for the advice and offers , I've got quite a few programs to try out today! To be honest though, I think I need to give some time to learning the many tools that come with CAD programs. Just wondering if anyone can recommend me a fairly user friendly Cad programe? 2D would be good, 3D would be better! Downloaded Autodesk Autocad 2007, but to be honest the interface looked bewildering and I didn't fancy that one. Also looking to teach my Dad on it. My pop`s an old-school enginer, I just thought it could help him out with work and maybe I could design some bike stuff with it and blag him to use the cnc machine. Just something I can get my head around in a few days, but still with er` .....angles and stuff! (never used one!) Cheers! Plus any usefull info about Cad programes you can think of....urm?

I'd also recomend a Wacom Intuos tablet. You can get one cheap as chips of ebay. Here's one with a serial socket / Win 98-2000 drivers for £10 p&p inc. Infact, that's the very one I use. Here Or get one with a USB connection (good idea), bigger tablet (not needed IMO) and a better pen (grip/comfort)...drivers can be downloaded for any system. I went `begrudingly` from a mouse to a tablet for using Photoshop / Corel Paint etc, and then for everyday use. Now my mouse collects dust behind my monitor. Those things are a joke! I'd recomend everyone switch to a tablet....if only to save wrist/mouse cramp! You won't regret it!

I wear Vans - Rowley XLT .....or something. Bloody love em`! Pros: comfort / light / style / cheap £50! Cons: no ankle support / sole bit thin - pedals nibble at them PS: Try and use the search dude ....you lazy bar steward! Its all good in here.

I'm running a maggie rear and a Avid cable front ........suppose I could just swap em` and run them upside down untill I can be arsed swapping maggie levers? Thats cool right? If it works, all my bikes are getting the same treatment ....although riding other pep`s bikes will be weird. I'm an un-scocial bugger anyways ....I'm doing it! Cheers PS: If I do swap maggie levers, will that leave me with a front maggie with a left lever or could it be sold and used as a normal rear maggie (with short cable`)?

Thinking of changing my brake levers so the rear is on the right! Seems the natural thing to do too me! Short Version: My left index finger is a pile of crap, always has been ......its my left and I'm right handed ! Oh` and I had an accident as a kid, resulting in me losing all feeling in my left index finger for a few years ......90% ok now! My dirt bike has one brake, its on the right (rear duh!) ....... it feels great, hated it on the left ..... to the point where when I jump on my trials bike I have to keep saying "its on the left - ON THE BLOODY LEFT" untill I get used to it again. I'm thinking that should leave my left hand/fingers free to pull on the bars harder / straighter as I'm putting the power down with my left foot also? I hate putting the power down using three fingers to grip the bar! All sound good from my point of view but NOBODY does it! Why is that ? Some goody good decided that the front brake be on the right yes` .......to combine the most powerfull stopping brake with the `natural` right hand? That's right, RIGHT? Well that method don't do shit for trials IMO. Maybe I should do this to all my bikes (four)? OK, short version my arse, but its one of those finicky things! HELP - would you / should you / am I a freak? Cheers
