  1. Nicely done mate, really good to see you out and about and shredding as per normal.
  2. I used to up until a few weeks ago when I sold it, I was running Limeys for the best part of a year, found them really nice all round bikes. Seem spot on for everything to be honest. A nice balance between weight and strength, nice stable geo. The tensioning system, although not the tidiest, is so easy and effective to use. I'd recommend one if you can get one. The original black and silver ones cracked due to an error from the factory making the top tubes too thin and the inclusion of internal hose routing holes, but that was quickly sorted with the white ones.
  3. It's the calliper flexing, 100% certain about that. The brakes have got to be a year or two old, I bought the bike second hand. Was at Joe Seddon's the other night to get him to bleed it and compared to the mono trials on his mod mine felt like they were made of marshmallows, well not that bad; but considerably mushier.
  4. The newer type Hope Mono Trial (Try-all) this one
  5. I've recently bought a Koxx Hydroxx mod that came with dual hope mono trials. The lever travel seemed excessive so re-bled the brake, this didn't seem to improve things. So I got the mounts faced, re-bled the brake again, set everything up perfect and still the lever seemed a bit mushy. On closer inspection you could see the calliper flexing a fair amount, something I had not noticed on other bikes with the same brakes. Has anyone else come across this? Is it normal? Worth talking to hope about?
  6. Nope fraid not, now working at Devonport navy base, moved in with Luke. Should get yourself down here soon mate. Oooooh infact, bday drinks in bridgwater on Friday, come! Luke, Josh Kydd, Ben Moore Greg, Pearson, Taunton riders Joe hurst etc will be there, meeting at mine for 7 and all crashing back at mine too, will be a giggle. Was awesome last year!
  7. Think its coming out at about 1090 wb, 380 Cs, +45bb. Not sure when it's coming out as Andrei is still riding and testing it. Joe Seddon also has as Onza stock prototype, which with Rockman forks comes out around 1078 380 +50 and it rides lovely!
  8. Looks like this one could be promising Will you be adding anything like built in boosters etc?
  9. They supply them with Echo Sl clamps and they seem to make setting up the brake a lot easier. I certainly like them and they last longer than the plastic ones. Tarty are now selling the Echo metal ones seperately too.
  10. For people that like to ride to the top of their downs they're an awesome product, the amount of time you piss about trying to sort out a seized QR and positioning the saddle just annoys me and breaks the flow of a ride. Granted I wouldn't touch a Joplin with "yours", it would probably die just at the sight of Quantock mud and grit. The Reverb from what I have read should be brilliant, if it's anything as reliable and well built as their forks from the last few years it'll be a winner. Hence I have mine on order already, hurts the wallet though.
  11. It's not just that, it's also to ensure that we don't get people flooding into the main forum, posting useless topics and replies, using poor grammar and spelling that resembles some foreign language. Unfortunately it doesn't seem to be working. In response to the topic, it won't mess up the geometry if the listed fork that it was measured with on Tarty is that fork; however it will be different to what you'd get if you were using a Rockman fock. Hopefully Tarty will be getting Koxx forks back in soon, need a smaller raked fork that isn't snap happy.
  12. Have you stripped it yet mate?
  13. Trialtech foams, comfiest grips around. Thick enough to add a little comfort, but not too thick. Last fairly long too
  14. Doubt it as it's been welded once and makes a damn nice wall ornament!
  15. Ben Johnson on here recently acquired a welded frame, went where they normally do on the chainstay yoke. Unfortunately it's cracked again and is now hanging in his garage.
  16. Looks good Joe, maybe a little OTT with the purple and white?!

    Top Gun.

Exactly what myself and Mr Rainbird were talking about last night. Looks so damn pimp though!
  18. Looks really really nice!
  19. Little bit of jizzum :$ Danny Mac DVD?!
  20. I second that, if you need any help or advice then feel free to ask. Certainly need more riders in ToyTown

    Get2

Well that's one birthday present i'll be happy to unwrap next week. Consider it ordered, just hope you have plenty of copies! Nick's vids are always really well film and edited and the list of riders looks awesome. Can't wait. Rusevelt, go home.
  22. Got to agree with Andy, poor job on the paint job, nice light or bright single colour to offset the carbon and make it stand out would have been a million times better. Now it's built i also think the curve on he top tube is too extreme and the "seat tube" is way too small. It's a damn good effort, especially for a first go! Darn sight better than i could do.
