Also agreed with both watto and JT! Zoo! pads are great with or without tar. Im wondering what these new coust pads are like on a smooth rim.

What so there good on a smooth rim? If you could best match them to any pad what would it be?

Mate come on use the search yeah It depends what your doing to your rim, are you grinding? Zoo! pads are ace on a smooth rim with or without tar, and are brill on a light grind but they wear away quick. As for the cousts i dont know but i hear people saying there running grinds but i would like to know what there like on smooth rims.

I have some koxx yellows and kool stops for sale if your interested? What are the coust pads like on a smooth rim?

Whats wrong with your magura? is it just the tpa that is broken? theres a realy simple bodge for it go into the trials chat section, then go to FAQS then find a post about fixing tpas.

Isnt it the same concept with walking on the snow? if you have say high heels on your gonna sink quick but if you have them massive snow shoes that are realy wide you wont sink as much.

How are your brakes set up? are they set up 2mm away from the rim, set squarely? No toe in on the pads? As for the bleed pull you lever and look at your pads(its easyer if you have your wheel off) if you pull the lever say 10-15mm and the pads dont move then you need a bleed.

Have you used the 04 ones? i was the same until i got a 04 brake used it for a bit while i was waiting for my rb lever to come, the 05 ones give me awful blisters on my finger but the 04 ones dont weird. I personaly think the 04 lever is better than the rb lever i dont use my mine any more, so all you how are thinking of buying one and filing it down dont bother.

Well what do you mean? Im a bench joinery apprentice its not plumbing but its still in the building trade. I get up go to work, do work like joiners do get given small jobs at first but then as you get better you get given more stuff to do. I do block relase to college(get payed still) If you want to be a plumber go for it best way to get into a trade.

My hog rim isnt up to much its buckles quite easy, But no dents yet. Id say the ronnie especialy the new silver ones they look well good!
