Socket set - For all them nuts and bolts quick time removal or tighten. Tape - For all the bodges you are gonna encounter. Rags - Allways need a rag to clean up shit or wipe stuff down. Old tubs like ice cream, butter ect - To hold all them nuts and bolts safe so they arnt lost. Sand paper/ scotchbrites - Polish stuff up. Hammer - You allways need to hit somthing Rubber mallet - For whacking stuff without damaging it. Drill set - Again for bodges you might need to drill a hole or somthin. File set - You might need to shape somthin or shave a few mm of somthing. Tap and die set - If you strip a bolt hole and need to re do it great for your magura's. Arlildite(sp?) - Excelent metal work glue good for you bodgers. Pliers - Good for grabbin stuff. Stanley knife - Cutting down pads, magura hosing. I think most other stuff been covered im sure some bike mechanics will put a loooong list on here.

I had the silver saracen good spec but id kitted it out my self with some better stuff, i supose if it is heavyer it wont be by much and after you stick a few better parts on it itll be fine.

Is it light i forgot to ask my saracen was realy light.

Right im thinking of getting the onza t-rex (spec 2) im 5 9-10ft im very light(8 stone) my riding style id say is street altho what i mean is i ride on the street not that i do all that spinny flicky stuff, i do a lot of pedal kicks and hops gaps ect just on street terrain. The t-rex has a wb of 1080mm and 380mm chainstays does this match up to me? anyone else of around the same height and riding style have this bike find it ok?

Whats the onza zoot like? is it a streety 24" how does a 24" feel? anyone care to comment?

IS the echo pure a street frame? i like them a lot is there anyway i can get a fully built one(new) not just a frame as i have nothing at all.

Well in light of my last post if my stolen bike dont turn up ill be needing a new bike. looking for somthing streety like the saracen good components echo or onza perhaps? not realy liking the base ta perhaps a t-rex. Who knows not realy feeling too fab at the moment which is understandable.

Evo2 booster you mean this right If you have this its useless to you as its not a booster is a set up aid. If you have this new booster from magura Then it just fits like so, there made for 2 bolts but you can get them to fit to 4 bolts you just have to look at it and play around with washers. Im going to be running 2 butted up together on the front soon, i was going to buy a old style one but now i see this it looks a lot better.

I bodge of a bodge.. when i got my new magura's for my xc bike whoever had they before had somehow made another hole for the lever at right odd angle, after trying to do my lever up i snapped the bolt inside the lever. So what i did was cut the bolt fluch to the inside of the lever drilled a 4.5mm hole through it and put a nut and bolt though it, Walla one bodged lever!

Thats the 4 bolt one buddy, I mean the 2 bolt one like in the link. :)

Whats the distance between the holes in this booster Link I know i should have posted this in the small questions thread but recently most things i post have'nt been answered becuase no one seems to go in there anymore.

Depending on the grit grade it will give it small groves which help remove dirt/water/dust, But you dont have to use a belt sander the same affect comes from just putting the sand paper on a flat surfce and rubbing it. But dont use a orbital sanders as they osilate(sp?) (that means they go round in a circle) this will leave circular scratches in the pad which will lead to more build up of brake dust and crap. PS:Terror did you pu my name forward to a mod for validation like you said you was going to?(yeah this bits for terror only so no need to post back with "why you begging to be validated")

A trick someone at work told me is to put your item on ebay with a stupid reseve(or what you want for it) in your case lets say £2000 then put it on tell EVERYONE about it and let the bidding begin, If you get the reseve price your laughing becuase you sold it for what you wanted, but if you dont get the reseve price then you get a rough idea on how much its worth but they joy is you dont have to sell it.

Are the original magura 2 bolt boosters compatable with 4 bold mounts? i know they will just go over the top 2 bolts but will they bolt down(let me go into a little more detail) The slot on the righthand side will be cramped down by the bolt, but will the hole on the left be cramped down or will it just fit over the bolt head? is it possible to cramp it down but just using a large washer or just using the edge of the hole? Also as there not too stiff and will only cover 2 bolts i was thinking of using 2 butted up together but separated with a 1mm washer to prevent rubbing, Do you think this is a good idea? im going to compare weights/prices of boosters currently on the market aswell to see if its worth while.

I have the 2005 ones for trials and the 1998(old skool) for xc i personaly like the 2005 ones better there alot nicer becuase of the one finger braking pocket they have(not as much of a pocket as the Rb or a freshproducts one but you kow what i mean)
