Please don't confuse the issue with facts! If Mary Poppins can travel about the world by jumping into a chalk picture, then Santa can travel all around the world in one night. If she can fit a housefull of furniture into a shopping bag, then Santa can manage all those parcels on a sleigh. And come on, be realistic ... if Peter Pan can just sprinkle some fairy dust to make children fly then why can't it be used to speed up the reindeer? Happy Christmas!

Some companies have always offered cheaper option frames ... £140.00

It was produced by T&MX News and was a really good monthly magazine - good quality and brilliant pictures. They only did six issues, the last one was in November 2005, and now they've decided not to continue with it!

1. Never had any come back to us! 2. Price is £140.00 3. ... need replies from people who have them ... 4. No, these are the 2005 models - 2006 might have, but they're not into the UK yet! Just taken some new pics for the site ...

We're meeting in January to agree dates and venues, which will be put onto the calendar. As soon as they're sorted, a BIU licence application form will be sent automatically to all of 2005 licence holders, and put onto www.biketrialuk.co.uk for new applicants to download. Just watch the homepage for new information. (Y)

Glad you all enjoyed it! By the way ... for information ... those of you who are full members of NBTC, and who completed the British Cycling Membership Form (as in everyone who was there today), the trials that Duncan Shaw is running up in Scotland is a series of the same club, ie: NBTC Scottish Series. So your NBTC membership card and your BC card (when you get it) will entitle you to ride in ANY NBTC comps. So if you fancy riding up in Scotland - all you need is the entry, you don't have to bother with another membership or anything. Hope that makes sense! Barbara

I've been told there's some really good sections marked out. Everyone who turns up is guaranteed a ride so everyone get yourselves there!!! See you in the morning - signing on from 9.00am - comp starts at 10.30am. Don't forget, there's no food van so bring something with you to eat.

Right ... I've had a few phone calls and emails from people who are under 18 and want to come to the trial, but who will be with mates instead of a parent. That's fine ... as long as anyone under 18 gets this form completed by a parent and then bring it with them. British Cycling membership form

The best and most thoughtful present my son ever bought for me was a facial at the local beauty parlour, with an appointment arranged for on my birthday - so there's an idea for your mums! :)

The Monty world team were given the gold bikes just in time for the World champs in 2000 - it's therefore the 2001 model. The colour options that year were either the green or gold. Having said that it looks from the pictures as if it's in good condition, and that's what counts regarding price. I'd have said around the £250>£300 mark.

Just a few flakes! Yes - riding regardless - you can't let a little thing like snow put you off!!!

I've just put up an old video (April 2003) of a trial at this venue onto cleanbikes.co.uk. Ali C, CLS & Chris W. It'll give an idea of what some of the rocks are like!

If you are already a member - knock the £2 day-membership off the above amounts. If you rode at the Back Cowm Fun Trial in March, or at the Ot Pi Training Days, then you will already be a member. If in doubt e-mail me to check - info@biketrialuk.co.uk.

Was that the venue where someone rode in wellies or was that another place? Was it Chris Leeson?
-
You can do - but if you pre-enter it will save you £2 and I'll be able to get the punchcard etc ready beforehand! So, on the entry form, you would put where it asks for NBTC membership number, "day member", then make your cheque out for £12.00 - sorted. (Y)

Map & Directions to the National Trust area of Brimham Do not ride on the rocks around that car park as that is National Trust land and doing so will lose this venue for future trials! Directions as on the entry form:- Follow the B6165 between Pateley Bridge and Knaresborough. At Summerbridge, turn immediately uphill beside the Flying Dutchman pub and follow road (straight on at small crossroads) to Brimham Rocks National Trust car park on left. The trial is located along a lane to the left of the car park. The trial will be signed from Summerbridge.

:)--> QUOTE(Josh B @ Nov 23 2005, 06:23 AM) ← As it would be my first comp can u decide what course you want to take when you are there. sounds like a good idea thanks for posting up :P It would make my preparation easier if you 'guess' which route for the entry form. You can change route later once you've had a look, and even after riding up to three sections! The idea is to have a go and have some fun!
