I know this is a useless post, but why don't you come up with your own opinion about the frame you currently own? After all that's what matters, I can say that I don't like it because I'm a stock rider and generally don't get along with mods (yes, I've ridden that frame) but how will that help you?

You know this means we HAVE TO talk about the steering wheel.

Nick, about brake cooling can't you look into different wheels which will act like a fan? Kind of like the wheels SLR's get.

Padding going on first thing Monday, seems it's essential to take part in a competition next weekend... With regard to Passats and alternatives, I just can't seem to find it in me to consider an Audi. I don't know why, that brand just doesn't seem appealing to me at all and I can't understand some of the engineering behind it, like having the engines sitting at the tip of the front bumper for instance. Also dislike the red backlit instruments.

I think you might need Durex to develop such a tube, not TryAll.

Why helium not hydrogen? Hydrogen will make your bike around 2kg lighter!

Nice car that. By the way, meant to ask but forgot. Does anyone on here have a VW Passat, specifically this chassis? I'm pretty sure I've seen one here recently... I'm kind of inclined to add it to the list of potential cars to buy next year. Doesn't quite go together with the likes of E55's M3's and a 535d's but I'm guessing it should be cheap to run and reliable compared to the rest? Would be looking at the 2.0 diesel with 170bhp and a DKG box. Any opinions? From pictures at least it seems like it's a pretty solid alternative to an E-Class or 5 series?

Is it really that necessary when driving around in a crash helmet? I plan on doing the padding in the future but just can't believe it's such an urgent matter. Wouldn't mind being proved wrong.

I know One more pic, still quite a few to come:

It's drifting side by side / in pairs. Awesome stuff when you've got skills or a car you couldn't give a shit about. Over here cars get plates depending on what region/county they are currently registered in. My region is Oborniki near Poznan which has a POB code. PO would be Poznan, PZ outskirts of Poznan etc. This system has a lot of benifits, from spotting drivers who could potentially be idiots (PSZ for instance) to having an easier time in traffic when you're in a different city. Drivers will often be much more forgiving when they know you're not from around here. First pic from the photo shoot on Tuesday. More to come.

I've noticed that some things don't change over the years... Definitely need to get the estate going for the next season. Drifting is boring as f**k, but if you have a car you couldn't give a shit about then tsuiso can make it a whole lot more interesting.

That's a beautiful Seat.

Results might come in next week, so not quick. However, here's an onboard from a messy drift. Car definitely goes sideways but it's far from being a drift car. [media=]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5IuavJUydz0

I'm amazed it's possible to wreck a freewheel to that extent in just 6 weeks.

A lot more to come. Gave the M3 a proper thrashing today but the car also had a pro photo shoot which started at a 5am. I didn't even know there was a 5am.

Running 160 on 17:15 in a stock bike, great setup. Used to run 158 on 17:16 but it didn't give enough speed for hooks.

Imagine how epic it would be if such riders looked for lines. It's strange how reluctant they are to do so. Amazing riding, lots of power, just a tad boring though.

Ignore.

I totally understand how you must have felt but in our case matters aren't that serious. I was in the same situation as you in my last relationship and it ended badly because I just got really frustrated. My current gf isn't a work whore, she's got a 7 to 4 job, the rest of her time she spends going to concerts, theatres, art galleries etc. It's just that she wants to do too many things at once, too many people want to spend time with her and as a result she gets worked up about the lack of time or not being able to satisfy everyone around her. Things actually got a lot worse yesterday and today because on my way to her yesterday evening I binned my car because a woman didn't give way to me on a roundabout and now my gf thinks it's her fault for asking me to come over. That's a good point, told her that today and asked that she doesn't take any medication because it won't solve her problems. We often go to these events together, I actually enjoy them although they are slightly boring from a trials rider / petrol head point of view. Art isn't my thing but after an evening like that I feel content to watch something really retarded on the telly so that it balances out. Kind of when you return from a proper exercise and just pig out in the kitchen. However, there's just so much going on now - film and art festivals - that it's impossible to attend everything she wants to see. And I think that's working her up slightly as well. I'll talk to her about prioritizing tasks, good point as well. By the way, try not to think about how much you miss your ex. Just think about something else if you get hit by that feeling. It's little steps like this that will help you get over her. From what I recall you were together for quite a while so it's going to take some doing. -
I'd go with fogs Does your car have a wiring loom for fog lights? Definitely looks good on those wheels, big improvement. Read up on hiring a rental and I should be able to do it very easily without having to open my wallet. I could even rent an S-Class but I'm not going to because I'd feel like a complete dork driving one. However, I do need a tow hook due to upcoming comps and training sessions + a GPS toll device, which I cannot just transfer from the bimmer. This could be a problem :/

If only I had known I was expecting it to go up but insurance is so cheap over here anyway that after some initial research I thought it wasn't worth doing it otherwise. Insurance for the M3 is 180 quid, 7 is 200. Either way, you pay a fixed extra amount on top of the premium for 1 year when it's a small bump. What I didn't know is that you pay extra for every single car that is owned by whoever is in the registration certificate. Which is absolutely retarded because why should my dad now have to pay extra for his MG when he was sitting at Wimbledon and probably engraving a trophy at the time of the scratch. Lesson learned I guess. I'm going to try and hire an S Class as a replacement for the 7, apparently it's possible, just need to create a big fuss. Apparently running your own business is a big win in this situation.

Well, I didn't have to wait long to get my revenge. I'm going to milk the insurance for every penny now, starting with a nice rental. Was going through a roundabout and drove straight into the side of a clio which didn't give way. Neither me nor the 20 year old driver of the clio got hurt although the Clio was a complete write off. Airbags didn't go off in my car, impact wasn't too severe from my point of view although it did send the Clio flying quite far. 2 tonne barge for the win. Anyway, to recap - complete front end needs replacing including the bonnet. Mechanically everything seems sound. According to a friend who was passing by on his way home, I should be able to milk the company for enough cash to repaint the whole car. Which is something I've been wanting to do for a while now

Usually some sound advice can be found in this thread so I'll ask. Got a peculiar problem with my gf, she seems really stressed out recently. Probably been like this for 6 weeks now. She's under a lot of pressure at work, uni (taking up a 2nd masters' course) and she can't find the time to attend all of the various events she really wants to see. Additionally, she seems to want to please everybody around her which is kind of difficult and she's really self concious because of that. I'm seeing a lot of mood swings, she's really stressed out all the time. I feel like I'm not getting enough attention (although I know she is doing everything she can) and as a result I'm becoming an additional stress factor because she is trying really hard to please me, rather than someone who could help . I really want to help but I don't know how. She's going to a psychologist next week but I don't think this is a good idea because he'll probably just prescribe some drugs and I don't want her behaviour to be dictated by some pills. But then I can't tell her that because I know she won't take them if I disapprove and that might just make things worse... I'm trying to support her, I try talking to her but she doesn't like to talk about her problems. Anyway, she just texted me that she's in a bad way and wants to see me so I'm off.
