Yeah but strictly speaking, TF isn't a democracy.

Nothing overly interesting, just washed both cars. The 7 didn't get a wash for over 3 months so it's nice to sort of see what colour it really is. Getting a repaint this winter. I've also noticed just now that this is a rather poor picture

Well perhaps not the happy thread, but the angry thread was a good place to discuss minor problems. There's something I'd really like to discuss right now but neither is Facebook the right place (prefer the outsider viewpoint you get here) nor is starting a new thread the right option. The kind of people who replied to the angry thread were the kind of people you wanted views on the subjects you were concerned about. Dan, JD, Luke, Muel, Ben etc. I personally didn't read the happy thread too much, but I did read the angry thread. What makes people angry often needs solving.

I did some research on this forum and many people said that the M596 was the cheap disc brake to buy.

Why is it that you're encouraged to start a new thread, but when it's a happy thread it gets closed? I'm really disappointed about there not being a happy or angry thread, it's made me use the forum less and I feel as though users on here can't bond. Thank god there's still a car thread which has it's own community. Starting a new thread for no reason is not the answer, it catches too much attention when all you need is to vent a bit. If we were really encouraged to start a thread rather than post in the angry/happy thread, this forum would be a huge mess. Rather like when Davetrials used to start threads along the lines of "what time is it?". Imagine Jardo starting a new thread because he got/did something to his lighter, he's going to get flamed. Or someone else happy with something that came in the post. This is not separate thread material and it better be contained in one. No doubt this thread will get closed too

Is it actually the yellow line, or the length between where the spoke straightens out and the end?

In a massive way. Started riding 12 years ago, made a lot of good friends, opened a trials store 6 years ago which subsequently allowed me to venture into other more expensive sports and generally lead a comfortable life with a fair amount of free time. None of this would have happened if it weren't for this sport.

Yeah but this isn't a 2012 frame. This is a 2012 frame: That aside, I think it's actually well priced.

Trialtech And Procraft Obviously Tha Same Brand!?
Greetings replied to FamilyBiker's topic in Trials Chat
Complete nonsense. Wellgo MG1 pedals are a good example, they are (or were) branded with these names: Onza, TryAll, Trialtech or just Wellgo - all priced very differently, all the same product. It's the same story with many parts out there. Having a TryAll logo on the same part will not make it any less snap happy than having Onza written on it. There's nothing wrong with manufacturers using OEM suppliers as long as they look for durable parts. Although this kind of approach can have a negative impact because it means less new parts are being developed. You'll find that new companies use massive amounts of OEM stuff because they want to create a full lineup of parts with their logo, with custom parts being developed in the future when the brand grows. Inpulse for instance. -
Has anyone tried something like this? http://www.laptopmag.com/review/tablets/android-4.0-mini-pc.aspx I just want it for emails and internet on the telly which is hanging on the wall right in front of my bed. Presumably Android would be perfect for that?

My gf made it from cut up rags I got with a punching bag. Took her about an hour.

Can't put this in the happy thread because there isn't one . My bearded dragon got a little dress today:

I can now watch Danny Mac in my car: Well, the intention was actually to have a DVB-T tuner, seems it also plays video files.

From yesterday's epic fail which many of you probably heard of:

It needs a Karbon fork.

I want the bb rise to go into triple digits. Double just isn't manly, I don't care it's +90, it's still low. When I get on my bike, I want my arse to tower and overshadow everything around me.

Imagine if this kid was a girl, he'd be learning about tampons rather than doing that. I hope that if I ever have kids, they turn out to be male.

Well, I've got some stories with UPS which will fake a delivery if they cannot deliver it next day using the Saver option (means they have to refund you the shipping costs). On one occasion I didn't get what I ordered next day but tracking said that the courier left a note in "the grey mailbox" because I wasn't at home although I was in all day. After some phone calls to the UPS office I was told that if I'm dissatisfied with their service, I should just go somewhere else. The twat wasn't aware that I had an account with them so I took his details and closed my account the following day forwarding his details to my consultant. Hope he lost his job. A few days later, the courier arrived with my parcel, told me that he tried to deliver it a few days earlier but nobody was in. I asked him to point to the "grey mailbox" in which he apparently left a note. He said he doesn't know what I'm talking about. He also claimed to have called me several times but I didn't answer, so I gave him my phone and asked him to find his number in the call history. He said he's not going to do that, and rather than admit to making it all up he just stormed off. I didn't manage to claim a refund because I was told that the package hadn't been delivered because I was not at home. I've been using UPS since that mishap which happened 4 years ago and it's been reliable. But it took me quite a long time to trust those twats again.

In case anyone is interested, managed to rotate the upside down footage from last weekend: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z7ZL3HtCHb8

Been riding for too long to point out the most embarrassing moment, but I'm sure getting my jeans caught in the freewheel must have been one. For some reason in such a situation I would always lose balance to the right, so not being able to put my foot on the ground I would just topple over with my feet still on the pedals and arms on the handlebars. Then not being able to get off the bike while already on the ground just adds insult to injury.

That wouldn't entirely make sense in my opinion, what you're saying is that the higher you jump, the shorter the fall will be. I'm sure this matter is way more complicated than most of us realise but I can't quite get my head around how you could have the same free fall time from two different heights.
