Its not a bad vid, quite enjoyed it, making me REALY look forward to getting my moto-trials bike now! Give me a few months and once I have a bike I will start trying to make some vids Adam
  7. Deffinately not going to be there tomorow guys, barely slept last night, been hit mega hard with a flu/chest infection thing, just walking 100 yards is knackering me out, coughing, headaches etc, I did however manage to drive down today, very steadily mind! Adam
  8. Hey guys, I don't think I am going to come on friday, I don't realy fancy the mega drive down after work tomorow, instead I am going to have a nice steady journey back home on friday, also started feeling abit shite today, which sucks! Hope you all have a good ride. Adam
  9. Hey Guys I think my attendence to this ride is going to be somewhat weather depandent, currently it is forcast snow on thursday for me here at coventry, so driving down might be abit slow, if it looks like plymouth is going to be cold and snowy on the friday I very much doubt I will come, as I would rather have a steadier journey back to kernow on the friday, instead of rushing down on thursday after work! Adam
  10. Awsome vid there Patrick! You and Matt and matt look like you have been improving lots! I will agree that all in slow-mo was maybe not realy needed, but it was still a good vid! I wish I was over there again, its damn cold here! Adam
  11. I have to say I am quite impressed with the price of these frames, they look very good for the money, although the paint jobs and graphics could do with a re-think in my oppinion. I have thought about this before, using Rigs to test frames, and I realy do not think that it would work, there are so many different sorts of load cases that are applied to a frame that it would be impossible to be able to test a frame using a rig, Even the difference between 2 different peoples riding styles would load frames in different ways, even when conducting the same moves...... Adam
  12. As far as I am aware the geo is pretty much the same. Adam
  13. You mean a larger lower cup, benefits is that the forks can have a larger steerer tube which should make it stronger, also means the headtube is slightly larger meaning a larger weld area with the downtube etc. It will be good to see how well it turns out! Adam
  14. There certainly is, I have not seen any pictures yet but I am sure that they will be about soon, there are going to be 2 versions, 1 with a standard headtube and then another version which has a taper headtube, with a 1 1/8th upper headset cup and an 1.5inch lower headset cup, the second version is being sold as a frame set with a headset and pair of forks to match up with the headtube. Adam
  15. Just like the topic title peoples, Planning on heading into Cov tomorow providing the weather is not too bad, probably be at Sainsburys (by the motor museum) at around 11 - 12, any one thinks they might come give me a shout. Adam
  16. Not sure why this is a major problem though, I ran an echo TR hub for more than 6 months with a single wall try-all hOle rim and never felt that the wheel was not stiff enough or that my chain line was realy that bad, never had a problem with skipping chains or anything...... Adam
  17. Hey dude, There are quite a few riders around the coventry area, I am in nuneaton but try to ride coventry quite often. Keep an eye on the rides sub-forum for cov rides, you would be more than welcome to come! Adam
  18. Surely because the dropouts are horizontal your chanstay length is actualy dependant on gear ratio, so even if they state that the chainstays are 383mm if you are running 18-15 it will be 380mm etc...... I do think the frame look quite good, I do still think that no matter what sort of rim brake mount you have on a trials bike you should always have some kind of booster welded to the frame! Adam
  19. You will need a No3 caliper for 180mm brake on the rockman 20inch forks since the disc mount is in the standard ISO position. Adam
  20. I would say that there is nothing wrong with riding trials over weight, I am around the 20st mark at the moment and the only reason I am not quite at the top of my riding at the moment is due to not riding as often as I would like/used to! Good luck on learning, its pretty cool that people at an older age find an interest in the sport and are looking to take part! Adam
  21. Love it Dan! Always had a soft spot for those frames, a BT4 was my first proper trials bike! If your finding you back is aching abit would it be worth trying a slightly higher stem? We will have to catch up when I come home over Christmas! Adam
  22. I have been running the SL freewheel for about 6 months now, realy can't fault it at all! Adam
