  1. Hey Pauly!! I made the switch from a Chris King too an Echo SL front freewheel and I have been VERY impressed with it, deffinately a viable option instead of a king! Adam
  2. I never realy liked my phatpads to be honest, they never realy worked as well as I would want for a rear brake, Same experience with my LGM's, never realy got on with them either. My rockpads are realy good in the dry and plenty powerfull for the wet and I know what a good brake is like due to having to stop my massive weight! I would still say that some of the best pads I have ever had for wet weather riding were the koxx green pads, they were brilliant for winter riding! Adam
  3. Yup, I am running 3x on an echo tr, which is a very small flange! Adam

I knew it was Cornwall, looks like somewhere north coast, Similar sort of riding to Water gate bay or Porthtowan! Saying its a secret spot is abit selfish, its not like there are LOADS of riders who are likely to ventrue all the way down to cornwall just to ride there, after all it is damn far from pretty much everywhere! I should Know I am from there! And why would it matter if they did! Video was good though, very nice style of riding. Adam
  5. You need to take out the mini circlip (number 11 on that diagram) its abit of a bugger if I remember rightly, and you will need some pretty small circlip plyers. Just be carefull when pulling it out. Adam

    Quoted for Truth!! Adam
  7. As has been said, I would recomend either a try-all/Rockman hOle if you want something a little wider go for the trialtech! I have the best front rim, but its a completely custom DX32 with large square holes, drilled sidewalls and single walled, weighs less than a try-all/rockman rim! How do you ruin them though, for a trials rim there realy isn't much need for eyelets, I have not had a rear rim with eyelets for atleast 5 years now and never had a problem! Adam
  8. Not realy, different geo, weight, tubing. And like has been said in previous posts, this is the first prototype and there is likely to be a few alterations yet! Adam
  9. Need to rub them abit harder Ross!, haha, when writing the spec I put that in because thats whats on the bike now, forgot the pic didn't show it I know what you mean about the top tube Rainbird, it is actualy the same diameter as the downtube, but doesn't look it . Not sure what you mean about the top tube/seat stay lines though, I thought they were pretty spot, straight line is the way forward...... Adam
  10. Yes I did make the splitter myself, not massively easy. And its not realy "faff" around the BB, the wings are there for a reason, they help to stiffen the rear of the frame, and they do a very good job of it! Adam
  11. The 2 Piece yoke idea was very brave, but manufacturers will never learn unless they try new things, and the guys at Rockman have learnt from this and they have already started frames with a new re-designed yoke, as far as I am aware! Adam
  12. To be honest dude I am not 100% sure how to reply to your post further up, They have altered the geo so that the frame is a little more inline with frames that people are wanting to by at the moment, as with every new version of a previous frame there is always going to be differences that some people will like and others will not. The weight of this frame is the main thing that keeps it inline with the previous ISIS, the aim is that this frame will be heavier, with any luck stronger and also cheaper (as far as I am aware) than the other rockman frames, Like I have said before this is the first proto of this frame, there are likely to be a few changes...... Adam
  13. The geo might still alter a little, not 100% sure yet, this frame planning on being abit heavier and with any luck stronger than other frames! I can see what you mean about the CNC plates around the BB area, but they do seem to increase the stiffness of frames. You will never like it Ali, the BB is too high Well this is the first prototype, which I only recived a week ago, only time will tell, which is the idea of prototype frames...... Adam
  14. No idea on price or availability yet, I have only just recived this frame and as its the first prototype I would expect it to be a while yet, after all I have to give it a good thrashing first! Adam
  15. Righty then, this is my new ISIS2 Prototype frame, Geometry is around 1095mm, +50mm, 72degree head angle and 380mm chain stays. It is not the final design yet, only the first prototype, the ISIS2 is aiming to be abit heavier than the other frames which we are hoping will lead to it being stronger. As far as I am aware it is also going to cost less than the other frames, Let me know what you think! Full spec: Rockman ISIS2 Prototype frame Try-all disc fork Tartybikes forged Stem, Ti bolts Try-all nowar carbon handlebars Echo SL headset Rockarm cranks, echo SL freewheel and Trialtech Ti half bash Rear Echo TR hub (soon to be Rockman Hub), Try-all hOles rim, Alu nipples and try-all light tyre Front Echo TR disc hub, Custom milled, drilled and singlewalled DX32, alu nipples and try-all tyre Rear Magura HS33, 4 finger lever blade, metal TPA, home made splitter, Echo TR mounts and RB 2 bolt booster (Not needed, but I like extra hold) Front Hope mono trial, carbon lever blade and custom modified hope rotor. Toxsin bottom bracket KMC K810 chain Trialtech foam grips. Welgo MG1 Ti pedals No idea on a weight at the moment. Adam
  16. Yeh, they are deffiantly not pashley forks! Adam
  17. Surely if you were going to buy a set of forks, especialy second hand ones you would want to know what make they were, after all each manufacturer has different reputations with regards to how long they might last etc! Those forks are deffinatly Echo Controls matey Adam
  18. You wanna grab a lift with me matey? I will be heading past yours to get to liecester. I will be there around 12 - 12.30. Adam

    Bonz 2011 Range

Just seen this Ozonys Curve 2 build, it appears to have Bonz stuff fitted, rear rims look interesting! More pictures on TribalZine here! Adam

    Bonz 2011 Range

I have to say the rear hub does look very good! I like the idea of having a HG spline, nice and easy to change sprockets if its ever needed! Prices seem a little high mind.... Adam
  22. Hey Guys I am planning on commuting to work during the winter as often as possible on the roady, so I am looking for a good set of wind/water proof gloves, so anyone got any good recomendations?? Thanks Adam

    Weapon.

Not quite getting what you are on about here matey! I have been sponsored by Rockman since the end of 2008 now, I Initialy did alot in tearms of making more people aware of the brand etc by making vids and other things, this year I have basicaly turned into a test rider, I have been riding the prototype Kortz 2 to see how long it would last. Now the prototype ISIS2 needs testing. I do not make videos of me riding the prototype frames, or post pictures of the bikes as the guys at Rockman don't always want these frames to be seen by everybody. I have also done abit of design work for them, So although it may not look like I am doing much for them at the moment, I am realy doing alot! Adam

Bike does look good, although the white ISIS frames always looked abit better in my oppinion. Keep your eyes peeled if you are a fan of the ISIS, I should be recieving its replacement for testing in the next week or so, REALY looking forward to it! Unfortunatly though, as it will be a prototype I can not give out any more details on the frame at this point. Adam
