  1. Very old topic but I cannot be bothered to make a new one. I'm planning on getting a new frame with a different geometry than the one I'm using right now. Current frame geo: Wheelbase: 1005mm Chainstay: 362mm Bottom bracket height: 60mm head angle: 72. It's pretty much a bunnyhop machine with the stem i'm using, and I like that way. I just want a little more rear wheel balance. New frame geo: Wheelbase: 1010mm Chainstay: 350mm Bottom bracket height: 60mm head angle: 71.5 The major change is the chainstay. How much will it effect the bunnyhopness, will the front be alot heavier to pull up? All the "bunnyhop" frames seem to have at least 360mm chainstay. What would be the whole change actually, since I'm not too sure on the effect of shorter chainstays. Any idea on this? Thanks.
  2. I received a front brake with very long hosing, probably because it was set up for a UK style bike. Forget to mention I´m using a euro style setup so it was my own fault though
  3. Hello, The topic sais it all. I'm looking into a new frame. I'm currently riding a 07 echo lite and I really enjoy it, but I'm itching for a new frame. I love bunnyhops, but might want to get just a very tiny bit more rear wheel control without sacrificing the bunnyhopness too much. The geo on the echo lite is as following: Wheelbase: 1005mm Chainstay: 362mm BB: 55mm HA: 72 Any opinions would be great, switching frames is always scary haha. If you happen to know any video's of these frames being ridden you could post em up, nice chance to analyse what kind of riding style is suited for the frame
  4. Very enjoyable, like all your video's, the bunnyhops look very powerfull! Whats your opininion on the frame? I'm debating wether to get a new zhi/bionic 20" frame. I'm struggling to choose between the zhi zm3, bionic before and zhi zm1b(seems to be what you are riding?).
  5. The next location should be near a big city/airport/ferry/thats tunnel thing from france to england so european riders can come
  6. Ahh cool :) Yea, the more people the better, it's just such a pain to gatherriders. With riding with someone else I meant "someone" in general. I've ridden alone this entire year with the nodabs event in eindhoven as the only exception. Julian is pretty busy, and I have never ridden with rick (unfortunately :p) What would be a good date for you?We could try to gather some people...

  7. Oh cool haha, thought you were still in leiden. Never been near Scheveningen. How far is the nearest train station? I don't have a car so all the traveling goes by train for me. Would be great to have a ride soon, I'm desperate to ride with someone else for a change. Leiden would be fine aswell if you know more spots there :p

  8. Hey roderik, I'm going to amsterdam sloterdijk this friday (june 25th), any interest of coming? Saw some pretty sweet spots at the station. It's not that far too travel from Leiden aswell :)

  9. I thought I did it right aswell, but oh well. Tried the syringe technique and I actually find it alot easier and now have a super brake
  10. After many years of lazyness I tried to bleed a hs33 myself using this method, the outcome was not very pleasing though I was pretty positive that I was on the right direction, closing one hole, pumping water trough, I could actually see a stream a water being pumped out of the caliper. My brake pads were still on the caliper if that makes any difference?(probably not) I also heard that it is possible to bleed a brake using just a syringe and hosing. But how would you attach the hose to the caliper without the nuts that magura provide with their kit? Thanks in advance
  11. You... Height: (cm) 180cm Weight: (kg) 62kg Style: (Street/Natural/TGS - which style is your bike most comfortable to ride in - NOT what do you prefer, or are best at.) Balanced Your Bike... 15. I can do them pretty reasonable, it's really important that you keep your balance on the very edge of going over the bars. Turning is the biggest problem for me. I can turn the front wheel a little but the rear end just won't turn with me. Any tips?
  16. Blender is free and is rated quite high. Don't have any personal experience though

If you noticed all those flaws, why bother trying to fix it and risk f**king it. If there really were flaws tarty would have replaced it for you.
  18. Very much enjoyed that, great riding style. The rail gaps section is a big promotion to rear discs haha
  19. The question was about changing style's of divs with javascript. I had an external javascript file reference at the header, and it couldn't influence the divs because they didn't exist yet at the time the javascript was called. I solved it by making a function to change the div styles in the external javascript and calling it in the html file after the creation of the divs. Also found something about onload functions which I will look into. Was I on the right way?
  20. Never mind figured it out!
  21. His riding standard doesn't look like "beginner and medium" Nice job, very nice lines at the building site!
  22. You guys probably don't know how strange/funny this is to see for non uk people edit: not saying this is bad, just not my kind of thing.
  23. Hello, I'm looking to get started into robotica for a bit. Last semester in school I had the opertunity to use phidgets driven by actionscript 3. I enjoyed it alot and want to advance a step into more robotish stuff where I can program simple movements and such. The problem is that I have no idea where to get started. I heard that the lego mindstorms set is a good introduction, but it is way too expensive! I'm also not to sure how the whole robot idea actually works, ecspecialy the microprocessor. I was hoping someone has some experience with this, seeing as alot people here seem to do some sort of engineering. Thanks in advance.
  24. The application will be made with actionscript 3 in flash. It´s doable, but there is no built in feature that calculates things for you, everything has to be calculated from scratch. It is not going to be in 3D btw, seems like you got that impression Thanks for the offer, I will make a topic when I will start the project. When I need any help you can check it out there
  25. Nice, was to be expected to see jitters in there. Never won anything in my life so didn't expect to win now either Good job
