  1. I'm never going to england after reading this topic.
  2. I finally have a working chain now so I can practise them better. There is progression, but not much. The hardest thing for me is still to keep looking ahead instead of the front wheel. I'm trying never to use my brakes as I use a grind, and I want to be able to do them as smooth possible aswell, like in my dreams
  3. I've build up a new mod recently, but I have no chain atm. So I went out and tried some manuals (running with bike, then jump on the pedals ). It's actually going better than on my previous bike, so I have some motivation to start trying them again. The biggest problem is that my "sweet spot" seems to be so close to the looping out point. I'm not scared of falling on my bike, but if I go just slightly above the position that seems to be the "sweet spot" the front is uncontrollable and wants to shoot up up. So hard to maintain the sweet spot I'm also having difficulties looking forward, I tend to look at the height of the front wheel. When I want to look up in front of me I start loosing my balance and the front wheel shoots up. I also don't know how fast I am supposed to go. (I also had the manual dream for numerous time btw ) Any tips for me?
  4. Not one time the word trials if I read it correctly.. Would have done the sport good
  5. Free bump Did you talk to him about the bike spec yet?
  6. Always liked his style alot, just missing the bunnyhops Could you ask about his complete bike spec? His front end doesn't seem so high for such a streety style.
  7. foetus position, but holding a pillow/girlfriend against my stomach. Not sure why I do that, but it makes me feel "safe". Interested study indeed, not sure how much of it is true though
  8. Always liked you better on the czar, although the horrible red makeover makes me doubt now.. I prefer your last 2 mod vs stock video's, this one is just missing something.. It was still very good though keep up the good work
  9. Nah too much hassle, but thanks for the tip haha. Anyone else about the echo's? don't seem like anyone prefers those
  10. Thanks, seems like the try-alls will be good enough.. bothers me that they don't fit my colour scheme though haha, but oh well. Just to be sure, the try-all hubs will be compatible with an echo lite frame right?
  11. I've updated the link, works now. Thanks for the response, I'm leaning towards to try-all now, the lower weight is quite tempting aswell Anyone else about the echo's?
  12. Posted this in an other topic but didn't get any response, so figured to make a new topic. Right I´ve got my echo lite frame for a while, selling my monty pr tomorrow so it´s time for some new parts turned.gif Already decided on everything except the wheelset. I have to decide between a try-all wheelset: http://www.rideactive.com/shop/index.php?cPath=74_62 [it's the special offer €175 one] or an echo wheelset: http://www.tartybikes.co.uk/product.php?pr...;category_id=61 + http://www.tartybikes.co.uk/product.php?pr...;category_id=61 Theyre the same price. What would you recon I should do? The try-all is probably lighter, but I don't know how long they would last, or if the lower weight is worth the lower strength? Opinions?
  13. You sound like an old grumpy man who has nothing to live for but complain about everything.

  15. I like this one alot, what software did you use to make it? Got a bit a vector look, but doesn't seem like it's done in illustrator. Something I did.. Never bothered to finish it, I suck at making realistic vectors, I prefer cartoony stuff the undead are cool

bet you never heard of last.fm ?
  17. Oke thanks alot, cleared it up for me
  18. Bit of an old topic, but can´t be bothered to make a new one. What exactly are the differences in 2 bolt- and 4 bolt boosters, other than the way they are installed? Do 4 bolt booster reduce the flex more or something? Also, is there any way a booster could harm your frame by being "too" stiff? Might be stupid questions, but I was curious.
  19. Hmm was afraid for that, I´ll order some spacers to experiment with bar height. Thanks
  20. Very Nice dude, I'm going for a very similiar set up with my echo lite aswell I'm coming from a monty 221 PR and I was wondering bunnyhopable your echo setup feels? Thanks.
  21. I understand, but I was talking about the feeling of the bike by the change in geo of the stem. The stem is longer, so I would think that it would make the front end harder to lift up?
  22. I have a question regarding stems aswell. I´m moving from a monty 221PR to an echo lite, the only difference in geo is that the echo has 10mm higher bb. The monty uses a 25x150mm stem. I ordered a 25x160mm stem for my echo, how similiar would the 2 bikes feel to eachother? I'm afraid that the front end will be harder to lift up using the 160mm stem on my echo.
  23. Yep ik kom uit haarlem :)

Ik rijd meestal in de buurt van de schouwburg, zitten wel een paar mooie spots. Rijd soms samen met Julian, geloof that je hem wel kent.

    Groeten.

  24. Looks like you posted this in the wrong forum section. But I might be interested in the complete bike, could you list the specs? I assume it's the short frame version, as you said it's too short?
  25. unedited video is awesome What frame is he riding? seems to suit him well.
