Flavours of this week are: Broken social scene forgot in people album, NIN the downward spiral (deluxe edition) album, Johnny cash, Modest mouse (the flavour of most weeks), J Ralph - one million miles away.

If i wasn't out, and getting my new bmx, i would of probably been up for this, as i live in bourne 'n all. But if there is another sometime i should hopefully be about, so

I was actually about to say that i think its alright, probably due to the complete unpracticality of it, and then you said that But i am 14 so i get away with it

Cheers for the help. When i get my new wethepeople beyond i might try brakeless and see how it goes. If i don't like it then i will probably just run a long cable if the standard one isn't long enough for it. But i suppose brakeless is worth a try Back to the barspin hops, at first i couldn't get my self to spin them and i'm still having trouble getting my self to do it now. I just end up doing bunny hop after bunnyhop because i won't let my self do it. But after a few more goes i was starting to throw them in, but i just kept hitting my knees. I suppose it is just a case of practicing, and when i get my new bike hopefully that will help as it is a hell of a lot lighter so i should be able to do bigger bunny hops, so i can chuck the barspins in easier.

Really good pictures and angles, and awesome riding too, especially the tap in the 4th picture down.

The Hope Mono Trial Or The Magura Lousie
A!! replied to zonaboy dan's topic in Beginners Trials Chat
I have had no troubles with mine. It has a big amount of bite and hold, and generally works very well. I have never needed to bleed it or fiddle with it, just step it up, bedded it in and it is still going strong. What more could i ask for. But i wouldn't know about the mono trial as i have never used one, but i have heard a lot of good things about them. -
If i still had a 360 i would probably end up buying tony hawks project 8, as it does seem pretty awesome. And here is a link to pictures and videos of nfs carbon (on the xbox 360) nfs carbon pictures

Yup

From how you have described it, it sounds like it will look top notch. So good luck with it

Yeah the frame is very nice, and so is everything else on it. But i'm not so sold on the seat, it just doesn't look right with the rest of the bike.

Very good, i liked it. I like the way the clips were fairly short and quick, seemed to suit the music better than slower long ones would.

haha that would be great You should get some more darker red paint and flick and smear it on to make it look more realistic. Only had a group of three people knock on our door so far. But we didn't open it, although i think it was some people i know, as i looked out the window as they were walking off. A well

Haha thats great. I have always been scared by images of people with gas masks on, i don't know why, it's quite strange I'm just staying at home as no partys have been arranged, and i'm not a big fan of trick or treating. You can just tell how pi***d off people are when you go knocking on their door, so not really my thing.

Ye you can download it off there too if you have mozilla firefox, but the quality is a bit poor.

True, i forgot about that

I have had both pairs and i prefer the blue rock pads as they seem to have more hold. They do seem to wear down quicker than the koxx browns though, but both do last quite a long time. The rock pads work really well in the wet too, especially with a light grind.

I think it is a good thing, it adds a lot of variation into peoples riding, and creates different styles. A lot of moves are taken from other bike disciplines like you say, many from bmx like x-ups, and now more trials riders are trying to achieve a more flowing style (similar to bmxing), which i don't think is a bad thing. So a lot of the other styles end up combining. But if you look at some of the bmx's they are now getting slightly more like trials bikes, with lower stand over heights, and i saw a picture the other day of a bmx with a bash plate attached to it, which i think was Ruben Alcantara's bike (i could be wrong). But this all happens for reasons, so in its self i don't think it's a bad thing. But it is inevitable that they will combine, and some people will ride and combine the different disciplines and styles, others will just ride pure trials. But then you ask yourself what is pure trials, as a lot of the moves are just different forms of hopping, and the most basic hop (arguably) is the bunnyhop, which came from bmxing. So it all gets a bit hazy

Blimey i didn't know that their faces were enhanced that much, thats crazy. So much for natural beauty.

I'm just looking for a bit of advise on a couple of things. First of all is there anyway of running a rear brake and still being able to bar spin without using gyro, as it just feels utter poo with the gyro system on, and is pretty useless. Would it work if i used a long cable so that it wrapped round when i spun the bars. Or is it more hassle than its worth I know there is the whole brakeless idea, but i'm not so sold on it, as i can just see it coming to a painful end. And secondly could someone please give me some pointers on how to hop barspin. I can pull a normal barspin by slightly pinching the seat, and lifting the front up and spinning the bars easily. But i want to try and learn to do them in a hop. So if anyone has got some pointers, it would be much appreciated.

very good, i liked it. Nice and smooth creative lines going down
-
Yup thats the way to do it. It has worked every time for me. If you don't have any muc-off then citrus washing up liquid seems to do the job, as well as smelling nice
-
I'm not going to have a dig at what you just said because it is fair enough, as everyone has their own opinion. But i don't see how you can say it always looks the same, every rock is different meaning every line is different, and not all natural stuff is filmed on rocks so there is even more variation.

come on i dare you, be a man about it, and take some pictures I've trapped my finger in my freewheel once when i was moving my bike, but i just yanked it out before it went too far.
