when you started to ride trials did you get back pains/aches in the lower back?

because after i have been out for a ride it Kane's, especially the morning after.

do these subside?

(change of subject, whats your favorite ale?)

yeah still a bad back the next day after riding! i just cope with it and take it easy for the next day

as for the other question, golden glory is moist, or the classic hobgoblin :P

that happens because your lower back is weak and you use your lower back a lot when riding trials. your back just needs some training, it helps against the pain and you will get extra inches in gaps, taps, pedal ups and other moves where you use your lower back a lot

http://www.nismat.org/orthocor/programs/lo...backex.html#Ex1 you can start with these ones, those helped me and now im doing deadlifts and a few more excersises for my back with heavy weights

I have a slipped disc and have to be careful ... but the best thing i did when going to the physio last year was work on a gym ball. Look on google for gym ball exercises , it builds core muscle strength as you have to balance yourself whilst doing the exercises.

But most of my problems stem from 35 years of motorcycle trials !! :)

p.s. this is the west country, we drink scrumpy cider :D
