Riding Shoes ?

Recommended Posts

I'm currently using Shimano Dx shoes, and they're pretty decent. Wide sole, flap that goes over the laces like try-alls, and ankle protection. Fit really nicely. The only thing I don't like about them is how hard the bottoms are. Because of the hard bottom, they don't grip as well on platform pedals. I've been told cage pedals work excellently with them though.

Hello people,

I keep splitting the sole's on my trainers!

I think its time I brought some proper riding shoes.

What are better, Try-All or Ribo?

If you have a pair for sale let me know :D

Cheers guys.

What size are you? I have a pair of size 9 Ribos that I've worn once (they are too small for me). Still look brand new. And I could do with selling them so I can buy a bigger size.

Let me know if your interested

we will see how soon that changes when you break your ankle at cambu

Na man, wait till you see how spesh the soles are on these beasts. If I land on a rock it will be crushed like a thing thats crushed easy...

Ankle support isnt going to stop you from breaking your ankle. Not in a pair of Edinburgh Zoos anyway.
