Skull- Went On A Diet

Recommended Posts

My skull went on a diet with new rims, front hub and tyres.

It's getting there now.

I also changed the forks and disc lever.

The forks raised the BB a bit (10mm) and made it longer (5mm lol)

The lever is awesome.

It has worked out lighter even though in theory it shouldn't be that much although the rims were a bit heavy.

You sure it's raised the BB by 10mm? They'd have to be some pretty long forks to do that...

It had short ass forks on it before with lots o offset.

Now it has longer forks with less offset.

It basically brought the bb into spec. from lower than spec.

Didnt really like the skull when it came out but thats pretty sweet.

what are the bar and stem?

Try all NUC and Viz bars, these bars are very sweet nicer than rage or trial tech.

I have been thinking of putting front maggie to make it lighter (With echo tr non disc hub) but am not sure at the mo. The centre of gravity is about in the middle of the bike which feels nice at the mo.

It's easy to become obsessed with weight loss.

I have turned into a weight wennie anal wanger. :S

I'm weird.

Ha ha you don't say?

The good thing about the brakes you've got is if you wanted to sell the bike you could just swap them around and it wouldn't matter.

I don't really see the point in your disc brake protector though.

Anyway have fun upgrading you bike I know I do.
