Magic

I went to college with this guy, Ste is his real name. He left College after joining the magic circle, got some small gigs and ended up over in vegas perfecting his card skills etc. Came back a much better magician. Same kind of tricks as David Blaine but different presentation.

Took years to get where he is now, college was 9 years ago lol.

On the first trick he pulls the king of diamonds out a little futher out the pack, so when he flicks through them, that card stays up that little longer, making it stick into your head. Don't know about the rest :).

Nah mate, as somebody has already said, he has lots of that card in the middle of the deck. The pack even looks noticably thicker.

Meh, don't know, but me, being sad, have seen, learnt, and pulled this trick before, and that's how I did it, try it out on a family member if you don't believe me :P.

Edit: Just watched again, and yeah, I agree, he used multiple cards for this, but when I learnt, I was taught to do it that way, try it out.

With the bottle is it not just a pre prepared bottle with a 2p stuck underneath the lid, when he 'puts the 2p through the bottom' the violent shake makes the 2p come off? Perhaps anyway....

You cant see it on the video, but he claims the bottle is sealed at the beginning, like, its sealed to that little ring thing under the lid, get me?

And you believe everything a magician says? Who's only objective is to deceive you. ;)

Obviously hes not going to say its sealed, when there's an audience around him trying to catch him out also..

If i wasn't sealed, he wouldn't of said it was.. because the people around him would of said.

With the coin through the bottle. He obviously ha a coin already in the bottle, lets just get that straight, no matter how stupid you are, you have to understand that.

The question is, how does he trick you to think it's just passed through the bottle.

He could of attached some 'invisible' thin string used for magic through the coin then through the bottle and sealed (probably around the label). If you look closely in the video, he's grasping the bottle to keep the coin in place. Once he pretends to pass the coin through the bottle, he pulls on the string (with the same hand grasping the bottle, 2 fingers flick out), releasing the coin and the string. He then slighly changes the bottle to the other hand while pocketing the string and swapping the coin to the other hand.

You can also notice that bottle has a big head, so a 2p would fit through the top.

Or a magnet.
