The 'acting' was crap, but the moves were good, the locations were varied and well shot and the video was very wel produced. I know i've said it before but trials videos need to hit similar to this level of video. As soon as it stops being a bunch of kids sidehopping a pallet with a mate shakily holding their mums compact camera with a fisheye taped to the front, the sooner it'll get out of the crappy associations of being a technically impressive but boring and lycra filled sport. What's wrong with adding abit of acting? it makes it abit different. The only thing I didn't like were those X factor type arm movements that was abit gay I have to admit but all the rest was good. I know the place where the guy with flying chicken legs, is along southbank, as i was there when they were filming it! lol, was random as hell and funny as hell to watch! lol amazing at what them lads do, iv tried abit myself in local spots, but it isnt as easy as it looks! i also went to a freerunning gym in oxford for a days tuition, and the guys that were teaching us were amazing at what they do, made everything look so easy! really friendly chaps aswell! Loved that vid though, the bit that made it for me was the guy that was doing pressups on them pressup bar thingys near the bigging, amazing strength! There are plenty of amazing spots within a pretty short ride of SouthBank, but because trials riders seem to never like change people just ride Shell to St.Pauls (or maybe Tower Bridge if they're feeling adventurous ) and that's it. So many amazing spots I found by just going out and exploring random estates and stuff - I found the place where Rowan/Kenny/these guys/Mike filmed at at about 4am one night just going out for a ride around. Plenty of other estates with a lot of potential too, but again, it's not Shell so no-one seems to give a shit. I don't know what everybody's talking about it being gay... Really liked the actual moves, but again, the acting part wasn't great and the 'Look at me, I'm well hard' bit was shat too. The moves were plenty good enough to stand up for themselves without needing to pad the rest of the video out with some borderline gay porn action. Am I the only one who thinks "what a tw@" when I see people who take their tops off at the nearest hint of sunshine to "show off" what a "BIG LAD" they are? I would have thought they would be experienced enough by now (as most trials riders are) that if it's looking sunny and warm and your about to do something that will make you hotter you don't go out wearing trousers and a top that is uncomfortable to wear. 2 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
