Rock n roll bikes?????????????????

What a ridiculous name for a bike shop and a team that has no relation to it at all..... granted the shop is called that however clearly a poor choice of name for the shop especially if you are going to sponsor riders who clearly aren't that sort. No offense. Just seems a bit odd to me.

On the flip side some really good riding in there good job......

Rock n roll bikes are basically the English suppliers for ONZA... So far from a stupid shop. Without th guys that run it doing what they do, ONZA wouldn't be around!

If you read my comment its not mocking the shop it self purely saying strange name for a bike shop that then creates a team that makes video's with urban music in it. You would have thought the ideal of calling a shop rock n roll bikes would have a rock n roll influenced team or something to clarify the name round it.

Wasn't aiming to cause offense merely making a point...

god you're thick :L

They called it rock 'n' roll bikes cause its a unique name, everyone knows of them now, its a pretty darn good name..they dont have to play 'rock n roll' music with their videos, they can play what the hell they want ..talk to the owners to why they called it rock 'n' roll, dont have a winge to everyone here cause you disagree with it.

It's been labelled that as a company name, not a genre of music to make videos too. Hahaha - Some of the biggest trials riders have their support.

I chose the music because It was chilled but yet kept the pace, and with it being quite minimal it puts the focus on the riding instead of smashing it out with a rock song that everyone knows. The video was made to show what a great rider James is and promote rock n roll bikes. And I'm pretty sure to say it ticks all ye boxes.

Why is everyone on this forum so aggressive now a days. I was merely pointing out that rock n roll had nothing to do with bikes and the shop mentality?

Just to clear something up again before people reply in the wrong context for what i was questioning, I am not saying the shop is bad, I am sure they do a good job and its great they are supporting riders I am all for that. I am not saying jesus these guys are thick like some one has labelled me? Thick for making a point no? Thick for being so narrow minded and pig headed you can not see some ones point of review regarding a name of something that appears to have no relevance, maybe?

I am not mocking the music at all or your choice of music, read what I said. Your music choice was never what i said was wrong.

The name rocknroll is unique? Strange? Pretty sure it is one of the most widely used phrases since about the 1940/50's.

And as regard to the skateboard trick, it is well named rock n roll because of the motion of the trick and makes perfect sense. And again I am pretty sure actual rock n roll came along quite a while before, (Read above).

Just to make an example, a man called Jimmy Levan a while back started his own company called metal bikes. Two reasons bikes are made of metal and due to his taste in music and who he hung around with. Low and behold the bike company had like minded people on his team and the bike company is just as much about the metal life style as it is about bikes, hence that makes sense.

My point was it just seems that the shop took a phrase that is an in fashion thing with no relevance to what they were going to create and why it was that there shop had any connection to rock n roll.

I was not bad mouthing, having a go or trying to offend anyone just making a in my eyes valid point as it just seemed like strange name for a bike shop with no connection it seems to rock n roll......

Rock n roll why can't it mean rock as rocks natural riding and roll and on rolling? Guess your to judge mental well done.

Bingo! If you visit the site and then click on visit shop you will see they are a very large BMX store too. As far as I know Rock (Trials) Roll (BMX). Quite a good play on words and it certainly seems to have grabed some one's attention, so its done the trick I think.

Sweet video James, Well done too Matt.

P.S are all the guys at Tarty ......well Tarty? They have a very clever and catchy name too.
