Use wide bars, straps not clips, rounded tyres, not an overly heavy ratio... Oh, you need to have bolt in wheels, no QRs. No brakes and tyres have to be pumped up hard! Dont worry what the other person is doing, just concentrate on your own line and keeping the bars stable. Yeah I have the rest sorted I was meant to ride last year but uni was in the way so my bro and mates rode so got their tips. But I was happy to only be 0.003 a second slower than him and was winning for the first 5 laps. Especially as he was from Latvia where this is a sport they do all the time apparently.
