What compound are you all buying?

Dunno what the other lads are doing, but I've gone for a ready made sheet of 85a polyurethane rubber. 2 lads already have pads, and they say they are quite good, but a little soft

How do you know the hardness?

Send me a pair and I will check the hardness and test them

The guy who I got it off, who is a rubber belt/matting supplier, told me it was 85a. He does it for a living, I think I can trust him.

Are you able to send me a link to place in which you purchased? Ild like to try this myself :)

It was an offcut from a sheet that an old guy gave me. He makes belts and mats in his shed, he won't have anymore I wouldn't have thought. Just type in rubber suppliers in your town into google and see what comes up. Go and ask for an offcut

I'm the person who got the hardness results ^

Would be nice to compare the material

I'll bring a sliver to branshaw quarry if you are going on the 22nd

Where and how did you get this mould done? Really impressive!! Do you just pour a molten solution of the resin in? What do you use to heat the resin?

The cad file you priduced.... What backing is that designed to fit?

Very interested in this!!
