Stuck for choice

I wanna know which bike you would go for if you were in my shoes. Out of an Echo Pure SL ( 8.9-9.3KG) or a GU 26"Orange (8.9-9.3KG)... The build is almost exact parts wise, but the Echo is considerably cheaper and lighter but I prefer the looks of the Orange GU.

Here's the spec of both bikes;

Forks: Echo Urban 2013 Black (disk only)

Hubs: Front Echo TR Disc. Rear Echo TR

Rims: Front Echo TR Black 32h. Rear Crewkerz Freed Black 32h

Spokes: Sapin Black w/brass nipples

Rim Tape: Trialtech White Front and Rear

Innertubes: Continental Supersonic

Tyres: Front Try-All Stiky. Rear Try-All Stiky Lite

Front Brake: Hope Trial Zone w/Jitsie Pads & 180mm Rotar & Adapter F

Rear Brake: Magura HS33 2014 4Finger w/Heatsink CNC Coustic &Jitsie Brake Clamps

Cranks: Echo TR 160mm Black

Freewheel: Jitsie 108.9 18t

Rear Sprocket: Jitsie Screw on 15t

Chain: KMC Z610 HX

Pedals: Trialtech Race Platform

Bottom Bracket: Echo Titanium ISIS

Headset: Echo SL Black

Stem: Trialtech Race Forged 165mm x 35 Angle

Grips: Trialtech Thin Foam

Bars: Try-All Carbon Riser

Let me know what you think :) personally I really like the GU

I'd choose GU, not too keen on those echo's.

Ride something similar to both and try and focus on what it is you like/dislike on each one, focusing on the geo of the frame and not the other bits of the setup. Then try and make a decision based off that :) A lot of people I know get on my bike and say it's really really weird. But I find it perfect for what I do (sidehops) ;) So go with what YOU want as that's a fair bit of money to be splashing about.

Well there both near enough same price bar £100 difference but I was thinking of putting the Trialtech SL Isis cranks on and the Trialtech SL stem but there both white and I thought it'd make the colour scheme abit weird but it makes the bikes go down to 8.7kg but adds £120 on to the price... I want the bikes all black except the frame cause looks cool :P

I've not seen anyone break a GU yet?

So what the point in this thread again?

If you like one more than the other don't go buying what other people like. They are made in the same factory and are owned by the same company if you're not that bothered about Geometry (I presume if you was this thread wouldn't have popped up) then go for whichever you like the look of the most!

Andrei Burton's Blue GU looked so good and he rode it so well!
